Seize the Time and Save Those Who Used to Have a Positive Understanding of Falun Dafa But Now Have Some Misunderstandings

Teacher said:

"The only thing you have a role in is saving people..."

I was a bit worried after reading Teacher's new article. Due to my experience when I was persuading people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), I'd like to call on all practitioners to seize the time and save those who used to have positive understandings of Falun Dafa and now have some misunderstandings of Dafa.

One day I went to see a friend to give her the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and try to persuade her to quit the Party. In the past she thought that Falun Dafa was good and also read Dafa books. However, this time when I started to talk she said, "You are against the Party and you are involved in politics. The gods know everything. They will save good people so what's the point in making a statement. Isn't it apparent that you want to challenge the Communist Party? If you are against the Party then just say that you are against the Party. I can understand that the Communist Party did not do anything good during all these years. Why don't you dare to say it instead of inciting people to get involved in quitting the Party? I will not read the Nine Commentaries and do not believe what you say."

What I was facing was an educated person whose way of thinking was created by the culture of the CCP. With her mental obstacles in mind, I said that we are not against the Party, because it is quite unnecessary for us to do so. Teacher Li said,

"All beings in the cosmos are repositioning themselves." ("Teaching the Fa at the Great Lakes Fa Conference in North America" from "Guiding the Voyage")

Teacher also said:

"God, human, ghost, animal, extinction
The position is determined by oneself."

I explained that the CCP is a life in the cosmos. What it has done during the Fa-rectification period is to select its future position. Actually, the "April 25" appeal in 1999 was the time when practitioners helped it to position itself. However, the CCP, led by its leader, chose to persecute Falun Gong, choosing to follow the demon's path. Teacher Li repeatedly gave it opportunities, but it chose not to take any. On the contrary, it chose to persecute Falun Gong. What is the use of having all the weapons the CCP possesses? When a plague arrives, it will be eliminated. The Nine Commentaries is a verdict of the gods on the CCP. All the crimes the CCP has committed are documented in it and the gods will choose whenever they think it will be suitable to eliminate it, so there is no need for us to oppose it. Therefore, we do not get involved in politics because what we are doing now has nothing to do with politics. While the gods want to eliminate the Communist Party and its subordinate organizations, they see that there are good people in the Party, and that it would be a pity to eliminate them all. So the gods ask you to quit the Party. This way these good people will be saved when the time of elimination occurs. Of course, there is a prerequisite, which is that you must know that Falun Dafa is good. Why do I ask you to make a statement to quit the Party? Teacher Li said:

"This universe has this principle that no one will stop you as long as this is what you want..." ("Wanting to Get Things" in Lecture Two from Zhuan Falun)

When you were sworn in to join these organizations, you raised your fist and made a vow that you would "sacrifice your life for communism" and thereby gave your life to the Party. You might say that it was not your true intention but you have been branded by this formality. Even if the gods want to save you, they cannot do so freely. Since you have chosen the Communist Party it will be against the law of the cosmos for the gods to save you. What then? Practitioners have risked their lives to tell you to quit the CCP. If you quit, then you will be saved. Taking your safety into consideration, you can use nicknames, pen names and former names. If you worry about your handwriting you can cut out the words from newspapers or a magazine. However, you are not allowed to quit these organizations on behalf of others without their consent, including your parents and children.

As a matter of fact, I said much more than what I have written above. This friend finally agreed to keep the Nine Commentaries I gave her. Not long after that her whole family quit the CCP and the two subordinate organizations.

One middle-aged couple knew Falun Dafa is good, had read Falun Dafa books and practiced the five sets of exercises. When I talked to them they did not oppose what I said. However, they raised two issues. First, since the gods control everything, why have they turned a blind eye to the persecution of practitioners by the CCP? I replied, "You have read the novel the Pilgrimage to the West haven't you? When the Tang Monk Xuan Zang went to the West to get the sutras, he had to conquer 81 tribulations. When he missed one of the tribulations he had to make up for it. Who arranged these tribulations? It was Bodhisattva Guanyin (the Goddess of Mercy) as well as other gods. The purpose was to test whether Xuan Zang was firm in his belief in Buddha. As for Falun Dafa practitioners they face similar factors, which were arranged by the old forces. Teacher Li said:

All beings in the cosmos are repositioning themselves. Humans aren't worthy of testing this Fa, and neither are Gods. Whoever touches it commits a sin. They've seen all of this as well. (Teaching the Fa at the Great Lakes Fa Conference in North America from Guiding the Voyage)

"Therefore," I continued, "the Communist Party and the lawless gods will be eliminated."

Second, their daughter-in-law said she did not believe that the Communist Party would collapse. It's impossible, she felt. In reply I asked, "Do you think that the Gods can't do anything? The Soviet Union was very powerful but disintegrated overnight and after the collapse of the Soviet Communist Party the country was not in a disorderly state. Now the Russian people have a better life than before when they were under communist rule." After hearing what I had said, the couple quit the Party right away. Later they also persuaded several relatives to quit the CCP as well. I gave them the Nine Commentaries to read and they all did.

I also met with a retired government official. When I told him Falun Dafa is good he agreed. However, when I tried to talk to him about quitting the three organizations he told me that the Party has given him money. I said, "They gave you money because you worked for dozens of years. When you were working you supported other retired people. In the western countries there is no such Party, yet every retiree receives money from the government. The only difference is that they might receive more than we do. Then why don't the farmers have a pension?" He said it was the Party who gave him the land. I told him that there is no Communist Party in Taiwan and that the farmers there are all working in the fields. Then he told me that what I had said made sense. He also asked me how we know that the Communist Party would collapse. I said that it committed crimes against the celestial law and persecuted and killed thousands of practitioners. It must pay for the lives it killed. What's more, it committed a lot of sins throughout history. You ask me how come I know this. When Zhu Geliang (one of the main characters in the Three Kingdoms) sailed out to borrow arrows, how could he know that there would be fog, so that Cao Cao (another main figure in the Three Kingdoms) did not dare to dispatch his troops? This was because Zhu Geliang was a cultivator and was able to foresee the future. This retired official still has not quit the Party. He has already read the Nine Commentaries and I think I need to continue to clarify the truth to him.

We still have a long way to go. Because of the limitation of my level I think that this sharing article might not meet the standard. Please kindly help me understand any shortcomings I may have.
