Memorizing the Fa is Great, But Don't Go to Extremes

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, the Clearwisdom and PureInsight websites for weeks in a row featured Dafa disciples talking about familiar ways to memorize the Fa. In addition, the other two things Dafa disciples should do were not neglected. I personally believe that it's great. I as well as other Dafa disciples in our region have all been inspired by Clearwisdom and have also started to learn the Fa by heart. This is a very good phenomenon. However, it is worth noting that one should not go to extremes.

I'll just use myself as an example. A few years ago I tried to learn the Fa by heart twice. Now, inspired by fellow disciples, I started to memorize the Fa for the third time. The other two things required of Dafa disciples were a bit idle in my mind. Other disciples in my area also had similar circumstances. Some only paid attention to learning the Fa by heart. The other two matters sat idle. When urgent local situations require disciples to strengthen sending forth righteous thoughts, some disciples sent forth righteous thoughts at the top of every hour while some disciples who were memorizing the Fa took exception to it. Moreover, even going to practice sites was neglected, to the point where they didn't want to go, and just stayed home to memorize the Fa.

After discussing this with some fellow disciples, we felt that this wasn't good. I wrote about this merely to help everyone walk a straight path. If there's anything inappropriate, please respectfully point it out.
