Lieutenant Governor Wang Donghua Cannot Escape Responsibility for the Persecution Deaths of 336 Falun Gong Practitioners in Heilongjiang Province

(Clearwisdom.net) The number of confirmed death cases of Falun Gong practitioners from Heilongjiang Province is 336. This number is 12% of the total number of 2805 death cases in China. Daqing City accounts for the persecution-related deaths of 54 practitioners (2% of the total in China and 17% of the total in Heilongjiang Province). Wang Donghua, lieutenant governor of Heilongjiang Province, directly participated and directed the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in Heilongjiang Province. He cannot escape responsibility for the crimes he has committed.

Wang Donghua was born in June 1950 in Sihong, Jiangsu Province. He joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in August 1972. He became the lieutenant governor of Heilongjiang Province in January 1998, and is currently in charge of the police department, the public security department and the department of justice. He is also the chief of the police department.

Since the persecution of Falun Gong began, Wang Donghua has closely followed Jiang's regime and spared no effort to carry out the evil policies of the persecution, "Ruin their reputations, bankrupt them financially and destroy their bodies physically." "Killing Falun Gong practitioners is nothing and should be counted as suicide," and "Cremate the body directly without identifying the person." He frequently traveled all over Heilongjiang Province to direct and force the local governments to persecute practitioners. Many practitioners were illegally arrested, sent to the forced labor camp and sentenced to prison. Some were confined to mental hospitals and injected with psychoactive drugs which damaged their central nervous systems. Many were put into local brainwashing centers and suffered spiritual torture. Many practitioners were beaten mercilessly, physically punished and financially blackmailed by so-called "law enforcement personnel." Many practitioners were injured or even tortured to death. This caused many practitioners' families to become destitute and homeless. Their relatives, friends and colleagues were also implicated and were brainwashed.

Today, even when more and more people know the truth, Wang Donghua organized and forced all local police departments to launch mass arrests of practitioners on September 23, 2005. He organized a number of secret meetings to illegally arrest practitioners. He personally established a blacklist of Falun Gong practitioners and ordered the local police departments to arrest all the practitioners on the list by September 23. It is known that on September 23, at least 16 Falun Gong practitioners in Daqing City and 14 practitioners in Harbin City were arrested. The number arrested continued to increase thereafter. Some practitioners in Qiqihar City and Yichun City were also arrested. During the mass arrests, at least 30 practitioners in Daqing City were arrested. To deal with the innocent Falun Gong practitioners, Wang Donghua even absurdly ordered that all police departments, province-wide, be on a "category 1 vigilance" from September 23, 2005. He also formed a special case team in the Heilongjiang Province Police Department and traveled to Daqing City and other cites to supervise and urge the local police to intensify the persecution to Falun Gong practitioners.

When Wang Donghua knew that all the local offices were carrying out his orders, he intensified the persecution even further. He ordered local offices to send all practitioners, without any evidence, to forced labor camps. He also ordered the local offices to regularly report the progress on the persecution of the Falun Gong practitioners.

The purpose of disseminating Falun Dafa is to save the world's people. Falun Dafa would still give chances to those people who have committed severe crimes. On October 10, 2005, the Falun Dafa Association issued an announcement: "At this critical historical moment, the Falun Dafa Association has made a special announcement: 'From today on, overseas Falun Gong practitioners will file civil or criminal lawsuits against all important government or CCP officials who participate in or continue to implement the persecution of Falun Gong and as a result, commit new crimes in addition to those they have already perpetrated against Falun Gong.'"
