Saving Sentient Beings by Relinquishing the Attachment to Self

I rent a counter to do business. For the past several years, I have been continuously doing truth-clarification about Falun Dafa with my customers, making use of convenient opportunities. After my customers learned the truth about Dafa, I gave them materials to share with their friends and relatives. I would give anyone who wanted to learn Falun Dafa a copy of the book Zhuan Falun. The chance that local evil forces might monitor, track, harass or even sentence Falun Dafa disciples to labor camps has never stopped me. In recent years, I have clarified the truth about Falun Dafa to numerous customers and colleagues.

In November 2004, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published. Immediately following that, Teacher's article "Turning the Wheel Towards the Human World" was published. I realized that Teacher's Fa-rectification process is nearing the end and saving sentient beings has become more urgent. I then took all opportunities, like when selling foods and goods at the counter, or meeting acquaintances on the road going to and from work, to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa and expose the evil Party. I wanted all these people to understand the facts and withdraw from all organizations of the evil Party.

At first I had opened the book of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and only casually skimmed it without reading it carefully. When I urged others to quit the Party, some didn't really understand. Some would quit, some wouldn't. Later, I studied Teacher's articles "Turning the Wheel Towards the Human World" and "We Are Not Getting Political" repeatedly. I carefully read through the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and articles published on Minghui Weekly by practitioners who had urged people to quit the Party with righteous thoughts and actions. Focusing on the matter made it easier for me to help others quit the Party. I would talk to different people from different angles and gain their acceptance.

It was easier to urge my relatives, friends, and colleagues who had a general understanding of the truth about Falun Dafa to quit the Communist Party. I gave copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to all who withdrew from the Party for them to share with their families. Now, some entire families had all withdrawn from the evil Party. One time, at the entrance of a farmers' market, I was buying fruit from a small merchant on one hand and doing truth-clarification on the other hand. Immediately, four to five people came to listen to me. After they had learned the facts, I urged them to quit the Party and its related organizations. All of them agreed and asked for materials to take home to share with their families.

It was more difficult to urge my customers to quit the Party and its organizations. My fellow practitioners and colleagues were concerned about my safety. They said that the risk was big as I was at a fixed stand. I was at the same place every day. I remembered Teacher said in "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Boston,"

I enlightened to the fact that I was a Falun Dafa disciple during the Fa-rectification period. Our mission was to assist Teacher during the Fa-rectification, and to save sentient beings. Only by studying the Fa more, learning and understanding the Fa well, purifying our states of mind, letting go of our attachments to self, could we receive and save more sentient beings, thus living up to the title of a Dafa disciple during the Fa-rectification period. None of the old forces' dark minions, rotten ghosts, or the Communist evil specter dared to touch us.

Every day after going to work, I would sent out righteous thoughts first to clean up my own energy field, eliminate all evil rotten ghosts, dark minions, the Communist evil specter, and all evil elements of the Communist Party in other dimensions which damaged Falun Dafa, omitting nothing. Whenever I had time, I would send out righteous thoughts in my mind by the hour. This would produce good results when I would urge people to quit the Party. Of course the precondition was having studied the Fa well. Some of the fearful individuals were not receptive, but most customers would listen and withdraw from the Party. I would give them copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and related materials to take to their families and friends. Some of the customers' entire families had withdrawn. Once when five or six customers were shopping, I helped them while urging them to quit the Party. Within five minutes, all of them had decided to withdraw. They left with the following information: Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and The Real Story of Jiang Zemin are written extremely well and are accurate accounts of the facts. They expose completely the bad things Jiang Zemin and the Party have done. Having understood the truth, withdrawn from all organizations of the evil Party, and thus been saved, the enthusiasm from the customers exceeded their words and gestures. Some happy customers said 'Thanks' to me repeatedly.

I felt within that I had not done enough and that the gap between me and some of the fellow practitioners was substantial when compared with the standards of the Fa. At this final moment of Teacher's Fa-rectification, I will definitely coordinate well with local fellow practitioners to form an indestructible one-body. "The Closer to the End, the More Diligent You Should Be." Teacher has always asked us to well the three things. We must not disappoint the expectations of Teacher and sentient beings. We need to thoroughly let go of our attachments, clarify the facts, save more sentient beings and fulfill our great prehistoric oaths.
