Practitioner Ms. Zhao Shuying is Extremely Weak Due to Torture in the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp in Hebei Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhao Shuying from Zhangjiakou City has been suffering from the brutality of slave labor in the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp and also from severe torture by guards, including Wei Hongling (female). Her physical body is extremely weak and she suffers from urinary incontinence, is frequently dizzy and often loses consciousness.

Ms. Zhao Shuying, thirty-eight years old, lived in Yu County of Zhangjiakou City. On January 6, 2005, she was taken to the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp. It was winter, but Ms. Zhao was wearing only a thin autumn jacket when she was forced to go out to work in the snow to gather grass for feeding the ostriches. This caused the relapse of her leg joint arthritis. Later, Ms. Zhao was relocated to work in a carpet factory, but because she was too weak, she fainted on the way to work in May of this year.

When Zhao Shuying was sent to the county hospital for examination, she was diagnosed as having cervical vertebra osteohyperplasia, with the proliferated bones crushing the cerebral nerves. From then on, Ms. Zhao was bedridden. On November 7, 2005, the Forced Labor Camp carried out a search and the guards forced Falun Dafa practitioners to take off their clothes in order to search for Falun Dafa books and materials. When Ms. Zhao Shuying was waiting to be searched, she suddenly experienced dizziness and fell out of her chair and later entered a state of coma, with urinary incontinence.

Later, Ms. Zhao Shuying was sent to the Gaoyang County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital (this hospital has been colluding with Yang Zemin, the head of the guards in the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp and has acted as accomplice in helping the forced labor camp to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners in the past several years). The medical personnel in this hospital have a terrible attitude towards Falun Dafa practitioners. When they failed to diagnose the cause of Ms. Zhao's symptoms, the head of the guards Wei Hongling (female) accused Ms. Zhao Shuying of faking the symptoms. On January 15, 2005, Wei Hongling ordered several guards to carry Ms. Zhao to a place on the first floor, specially designated for torturing Falun Dafa practitioners. They applied brutal torture methods on her and used electric batons to shock her hands and feet.

Ms. Zhao Shuying was already in and out of consciousness; she had not taken any food for nine days. After the torture, her physical body became even weaker, and she constantly experienced headache, dizziness and unconsciousness, with urinary incontinence. The guard Wei Hongling was still constantly threatening Ms. Zhao, "If we cannot find the cause of your illness, we will not let you go."
