A Precious Key for Eliminating Fundamental Attachments: The Amazing Experience of Memorizing Zhuan Falun

(Clearwisdom.net) After reading an article on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website about a young practitioner memorizing "Zhuan Falun," a fellow practitioner suggested for us to memorize the book as well. I had also started to memorize Zhuan Falun several years ago, but had given it up even before I finished memorizing the first chapter. This time, as soon as the fellow practitioner made the suggestion, I felt it was something that I had been looking forward to for a long time. Suddenly, a sense of joyful anticipation arose in my heart. I felt all the sentient beings in my dimension were cheering, as if they were welcoming a major holiday.

With this solemn and divine feeling I started to memorize "Zhuan Falun while in the lotus position (legs double-crossed) and hands conjoined. Once I started, the feeling was significant. While the Fa filled my mind, strong energy whirred into the dantian point in the lower abdominal area where my hands were conjoined. The more tranquil I was when memorizing the Fa, the stronger the energy field around my body was. The energy whirring into the dantian point even made my lower abdomen undulate.

From the very beginning of memorizing the Fa I felt the strong sensation and cleansing from Dafa in both my mind and body. On the first day I felt a bit sore all over my body. It felt like the cells and particles deep in my body that had never before been reached were dealt with and cleansed. Afterwards, my fundamental attachment, which I found difficult to eliminate, was also shaken by the strong impact of Dafa, which touched the origin of my life.

For a long time, I had wearily "fought" my attachment of fear while clarifying the truth. From my experience sharing article "Return to Your Original Self and Step Away from The Old Forces' Arrangements" (1) written for "The Second Mainland China Internet Experience Sharing Conference" one can see how serious my attachment of fear was. It was indeed difficult for me to eliminate this attachment. This fundamental attachment seemed to be mountain-like granite. It would take a very long time to only chisel away a shallow layer.

But since I started to memorize Zhuan Falun, I felt that the outer layer of this granite was covered with a softening substance. The granite was no longer that solid, and the hand holding the chisel could also accurately find this layer's target point. In memorizing Zhuan Falun I finally found the precious key to eliminate my fundamental attachment! Actually isn't this what Master said,

"The Fa can break all attachments..." ("Drive Out Interference" from Essentials for further Advancement II)

I had not memorized the Fa and delayed in doing so until now, my Fa study had not been deep enough, the attachment was not eliminated and I was therefore unable to clarify the truth well; it was as simple as that! Then, how many opportunities to rescue sentient beings have I missed?

I was very slow in memorizing the book; it took me one hour to just memorize one page. But even so, the divine power of Dafa was strong enough to significantly change my cultivation status.

I write this to tell fellow practitioners: the book Zhuan Falun that Master gave us is indeed a priceless treasure! As long as we solidly recite Zhuan Falun in our hearts/minds, all bad situations during Fa-rectification cultivation will be thoroughly resolved, and our path of validating Dafa and saving the sentient beings will be more and more righteous and increasingly broader. Fellow practitioners, let us all memorize Zhuan Falun!
