In December 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yu Shaoqi from Chenxi, Hunan Province was illegally arrested and held at a detention center and later sent to a labor camp. He resisted the persecution and was finally released. The 610 Office agents didn't relent until they extorted 1,500 yuan from his workplace. In January 2006 they again went to Yu Shaoqi's employer, the Chenxi Weather Bureau to repeatedly extort money.
