Germany: A Practitioner's Experiences Clarifying the Truth in and Around Munich

Nymphenburg Castle in Munich, Germany is the birthplace of the famous fairy-tale-like King Ludwig II. Every year tourists flock here endlessly. Every once a while, local Falun Gong practitioners used their weekends to go there to demonstrate the exercises and distribute fliers.

Once, a young practitioner named Mihai was doing the exercises alone there. After he finished the first exercise, he opened his eyes and saw two Chinese people staring at him. He took some informational materials and stepped up to talk to them. He found out that they were from Taiwan. One of the young women happened to be a Falun Gong practitioner too. She was on a business trip to Germany with her colleague. They held a short conversation, then bid farewell to each other, and Mihai got back to the exercises.

In a little while, he heard someone talking to tourists in English. He was curious and opened his eyes. He saw that it was the same young woman he'd just spoken to, and she was busy handing Falun Gong leaflets to tourists, explaining to them what Falun Gong is, how Falun Gong is persecuted in China by the Chinese Communist regime, why the Communist Party wants to persecute Falun Gong and so on. Mihai was very pleased, and continued the exercises.

Afterwards, the two of them started talking. The young woman said that she saw that Mihai was alone there and he could not talk to passers-by while doing the exercises. Therefore she convinced her colleague to go visit the Nymphenburg Castle while she stayed back to help Mihai. Although she wasn't able to visit the famous castle, she was very happy to have the opportunity to expose the persecution together with a German fellow practitioner.

One day Mihai went to a printing factory to pick up some Falun Gong leaflets. Right after driving away from the shop, he saw a group of Chinese delegates walking by on the opposite side of the road. "Oh," thought Mihai, "What a pity that I can't park here, otherwise I would be able to give them materials."

Stepping on the accelerator, Mihai was just about to leave. Suddenly a thought flashed in his mind. This can't be just like this, and it's not a coincidence that I have a car full of materials. If they miss this chance, no one can tell when they will run into a Falun Gong practitioner again. Mihai turned on the hazard lights and parked the car on the side of the road temporarily. He took the materials and circled to the front of the group and distributed the leaflets to them one by one. A German accompanying the group said, "Please don't hand anything out." Mihai replied, "This is a free world." The companion said nothing more, and Mihai successfully distributed the materials to each member of the group. When he was finished, he went back to the car. The whole process only took five minutes.

Once in downtown Munich, local practitioners hosted an activity to introduce Falun Gong and the persecution. Many local people and tourists stopped to watch, and a few practitioners were distributing fliers. Mihai was one of them, and many people happily took the materials from him.

A Chinese couple came by. Upon seeing the leaflets that Mihai was handing out, they refused immediately and walked away from him. At that moment Mihai's mind was filled with conflicting thoughts. He really did not want to talk to them again, as their unfriendly attitude made him feel very bad inside.

However, thinking about it in another way, the reason their attitude was not friendly was because they were deceived by the Chinese Communist regime. Just because of this, they deserved to know the facts about Falun Gong, and to get rid of their misunderstandings. Then Mihai caught up with them and started to talk to them in English. He told them about what kind of people practitioners are, how the Chinese Communist regime persecutes practitioners, why practitioners clarify the truth on the streets, and the truth of the "self-immolation on Tiananmen Square" directed by the CCP. He clarified the truth of Falun Gong little by little. The two Chinese people nodded while listening, and finally they shook his hand warmly and wished the practitioners success.
