Three Practitioners from Shandong Province, Heilongjiang Province, and Tianjin City Who Died as a Result of the Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Yao Qingyu, 63 years old, lived in Shangbutou Village, Buliu Town, Rongcheng City, Shandong Province. She started to practice Falun Gong in 1998. Shortly after that, her diseases all disappeared. After the Chinese Communist Party started to persecute Falun Gong in July 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. Unfortunately, she was arrested, fined 11,100 yuan, and detained for 45 days. In January 2000, she went to Beijing for the second time. She was arrested, transferred back to her hometown, fined 1,800 yuan, and tortured in a mental hospital for one month. In 2001, she was arrested by a team lead by the ex-party secretary of Shangbutou Village, Wang Xiangxiu; the Political and Legal Committee secretary of Buliu Town, Dong Zhaohao; and the director of Buliu Town Police Station, Song Houyu. She was transferred to and persecuted in the Tian'erhu brainwashing center. Her previous diseases reappeared and she passed away on March 3, 2003.

Ms. Wang Junwen, 69 years old, was a Falun Gong practitioner in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province. In 1996, she had a disease causing her colon to narrow in several locations. No hospital could cure her disease, and she could only go home and wait for death. At this time, someone introduced Falun Gong to her. After she started to practice, her body improved daily, and she finally regained her health. Falun Gong gave her a second life. She told everyone the miracle of Falun Gong and her personal experience. In a large arrest in 2002, policemen from her local police station went to her home to harass, monitor, and threaten her and to try to force her to give up Falun Gong practice. They forced her son to write a guarantee statement for her. Ms. Wang's disease reappeared after long-term persecution and pressure from the police and at home. She died on December 31, 2005.

Mr. Chen Dekuan, 67 years old, lived on Guojiayuan Street, Lutai Town, Ninghe County, Tianjin City. After starting to practice Falun Gong in 1997, his paralysis from a stroke was cured without medical treatment. He became very healthy. He went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong on April 25, 1999. After July 20, 1999, the police constantly harassed him, and the environment for group study and exercise was destroyed. This caused him to suffer greatly, both physically and mentally. His health deteriorated daily. He became blind in the right eye and almost blind in the left eye. He passed away on October 21, 2005.
