Corrupt Director of Central Hospital in Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province Receives Karmic Retribution

(Clearwisdom.net) Toward the end of December 2005 a fire at Central Hospital of Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province shocked the public. At 5:35 p.m. on December 15, 2005, the largest hospital in Jilin Province - Central Hospital in Liaoyuan City - caught fire. The fire burned for over five hours, and was finally extinguished around 10 p.m. The fire caused 40 deaths and 94 injuries. The hospital itself was in ruins: 5,000 square meters burned (over 50,000 sq. ft.); the fourth floor and the top level on the north side of the building and the 1^st to 4^th floors on the south side were completely destroyed, and part of the third floor was burned.

The official investigation concluded that the accident was related to the poor installation and operation of electric heaters at the bottom of windows. Hospital director Wang Shaowen said in an interview, "Normally, we have done pretty well with fire safety."

However, hospital director Wang Shaowen is the one who is really responsible for this fire, and he has lost the trust of the general public. Not only is he responsible for the loss of these 40 patients, but his hands are also covered with the blood of Falun Dafa practitioners.

According to internal sources, in 2005 two Falun Dafa practitioners from Liaoyuan City, He Yuanhui and Kang Yunling, were injected with unknown drugs by Wang Shaowen and Zhang Xing, a Director of the Political Judiciary Department of the Second Prison of Jilin Province. He Yuanhui reported before her death, "In the Second Prison of Jilin Province, because I did not cooperate with evil police, they tied me on the bed board and beat me viciously. The bed board was even broken. I passed out several times. The police were afraid of killing me, but when they saw that I still refused to cooperate with them, they conspired with the President of Liaoyuan Central Hospital-Wang Shaowen. Wang Shaowen provided some unknown drug and, after a doctor from the hospital injected it into my body, though I immediately felt energetic, the doctor who did the injection said I would live at most 6 to10 months."

Someone who knew He Yuanhui said, "Indeed, He Yuanhui died. They calculated very accurately." The friend also said that the Second Prison of Jilin Province illegally extorted money, which is an unwritten practice. That is, to get released from Second Prison, you have to pay 3,000-5,000 yuan. People are threatened not to tell anyone; otherwise, they will be forced to return to prison and be imprisoned for 8 to 10 more years. When He Yuanhui was alive, her family yielded to the demands of Zhang Xing, the Director of Political Judiciary Department of Jilin Province Second Prison, in order for her not to suffer persecution and torture.

There's a saying: good is rewarded with good, and evil is met with evil. Hospital Director Wang Shaowen now suffers from necrosis in the bones in both his knees, and he can only move about with a walking stick. Later his wife suffered a stroke, became paralyzed and is now bedridden.
