Mr. Xing Guangjun, Tortured to Paralysis at the Fanjiatai Jail in Shayang County, Hubei Province, Dies as a Result (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) 49-year-old Mr. Xing Guangjun was a Falun Dafa practitioner in Xiangfan City, Hubei Province. He was arrested and sentenced to five years imprisonment. In July 2002, he was sent to the Fanjiatai Jail in Shayang County, Hubei Province. He was brutally tortured and injected with an unknown oral liquid drug, which caused a disorder in his nervous system and paralysis. After he was released on bail for medical treatment in April 2005, he was confined to bed. His mental condition was unstable, and he could not take care of himself. He was completely dependent on his family. He passed away in January 16, 2006. More details follow:

Mr. Xing Guangjun was an employee at the former Xiangfan City Aluminum Material Factory in Hubei Province. In June 1996, he began practicing Falun Dafa. On October 26, 1999, he went to Beijing for clarifying the truth and validating Dafa. In Beijing, he was abducted by lawless officials. After that, he was sent to the Xiangfan City No. 1 Detention Center and detained for two and a half months. In the Chinese New Year of 2000, he was abducted again and illegally detained at Xiangfan City No. 1 Detention Center for three and a half months. On June 26, 2000, Mr. Xing went to appeal again, and he was abducted and persecuted again. He was sent to the Xiangfan City brainwashing center, located in the Jinpeng Hotel and affiliated with Xiangfan City Cotton Mill.

In 2001, Mr. Xing Guangjun was abducted, detained and tortured again. During his detention, he became infected with a skin disease and suffered continuous poor health. On March 12, 2002, he was illegally sentenced to five years of imprisonment. In July 2002, he was sent to the Fanjiatai Jail. In 2003, Mr. Xing was strictly monitored for several months. The long-term persecution caused his legs to shrivel, and eventually, he could no longer walk without assistance. Despite his condition, the wicked guards showed no concern and still placed him under strict surveillance and tortured him. In 2004, Mr. Xing went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution during the Chinese New Year. Five days later, he was sent to a hospital for further persecution. His illness was not treated there and his condition further deteriorated. He even contracted some illnesses that he did not have before, and he was in a critical condition.

Around April 2005, the Fanjiatai Jail released Mr. Xing Guangjun on bail for medical treatment. Mr. Xing was confined to bed and his mental condition was not stable. He could not take care of himself and was completely dependent on his family until he passed away on January 16, 2006.

Mr. Li Guangnian, is a Falun Dafa practitioner in a village of Jinmen City, Hubei Province. On October 28, Yang Jinqin, a so-called "assistant professor" of the Shayang Prison General Hospital, gave Mr. Li some kind of injection. After that, Mr. Li lost the function of his legs. He feels pain whether he stands, sits or walks. He cannot stand up after using the toilet. This condition has lasted nearly several months.
