(Clearwisdom.net) On the evening of December 30, 2005, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Cao Yuguo from Rushan City, Shandong Province, was arrested while driving his three-wheeled taxi. Mr. Cao is self-employed. Police from the First Division of Rushan City Department ransacked his home and detained him in the Jinling Development District Police Station.
He was sentenced to four and a half years in prison in October 2000 and was inhumanly tortured in the Huaibei Prison located in Weifang City, Shandong Province. He just returned home in May 2005. His wife, who is also a practitioner, was sent to a forced labor camp for three years in 2001. During that time, their teenage son had to live with his grandparent. They had no income, and in addition were forced to pay more than 10,000 yuan in extortion to the local police and officials. Consequently the family lived a very difficult life. Mr. Cao Yuguo's parents both died from the huge mental and financial pressures of the persecution. The prison administration did not even allow Mr. Cao to see his mother before she died.
We hereby call on everyone with a sense justice to speak out for the release of innocent Falun Dafa practitioners, including Mr. Cao Yuguo. Please help us resist and end this evil persecution.
