(Clearwisdom.net) There are three teams in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, and around 60 practitioners are detained in the No. 1 Team. In that team, around 10 practitioners are detained in one room and don't wear the labor camp uniforms. Around 200 practitioners are persecuted in the No. 2 Team and have to wear their labor camp uniforms. Over 200 practitioners are detained in the No. 3 team, including firm practitioners and those who have renounced Dafa. Those Falun Gong practitioners who are recently detained are sent directly to the No. 3 team. Most of the other detainees in these teams are used by the jail guards to monitor practitioners, but they have understood the truth about Dafa. Some of them have written solemn statements to nullify what they had previously written and said.

The persecution of Falun Gong practitioners at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp is still very severe. If practitioners refuse to cooperate with the guards' demands, the guards beat them. Some practitioners detained there are still being tied up for the death bed and brutally tortured. From time to time, guards search the whole cell. Folded clothes and bedding are searched through and thrown around.

When one Falun Gong practitioner from Shenyang who is nearly 60 years old, Ms. Shi Guirong, tried to clarify the truth, jail guard Gao Yuntian beat her until she fell from the stool down to the ground. This practitioner still kept clarifying the truth to them, so guards pinched her and cursed at her. Afterwards, she started a hunger strike. Because she felt very uncomfortable, she went to lie on the chilly ground. The monitoring detainees reported this to the guards, but none of the guards came to have a look. The guards knew that she had high blood pressure and a heart problem. This practitioner's only daughter came to visit her many times, but because of her refusal to wear the labor camp uniform, the practitioner was not allowed to see her daughter. The physical and mental torture could not shake this practitioner's firm belief and righteous thoughts towards Dafa, and it is hoped that other practitioners can send forth righteous thoughts to support her in leaving the camp as soon as possible.

On September 27, 2005, several practitioners in a cell refused to cooperate with the guards on their "security inspection." The guards forced them to stand for so long that some practitioners' feet were swollen. The guards also forced practitioners to sit on stools, saying sarcastically that the ground was too cold for them to sit on. When practitioners refused to sit, the guards forced them to move from a room with sunshine to another room without sunshine, to purposefully freeze them and didn't allow them to move back until after one month. A monitoring detainee was concerned that the room was too cold and gave one practitioner a pair of cotton shoes. She was punished for doing so by having 5 days added to her sentence.

Practitioners detained in other rooms are forced to stand or sit on the cold ground without a mattress. Falun Gong practitioner Zhang Shuxia refused to cooperate and policeman Xie Chengdong slapped her twice. Falun Gong practitioner Liu Zhenwen refused to cooperate and was handcuffed and tied up for several days. Falun Gong practitioner Zhang Lirong felt ill and had a headache. She sat on a stool and crawled closer to the bed. Guard Li Mingyu pushed her with his feet, asked how she felt and claimed to care about her health. She said, "We are forced to sit 15-16 hours every day from morning until evening. Whose body can stand it?" Guards then tied her down for two days and one night. This practitioner was not released until the guards saw that she didn't eat at all during this period. Ms. Zhang was then tied down for another 2 days.

Another practitioner named Zhang Wenhong was on hunger strike for seven days, and the guards force-fed her. She shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" Later, this practitioner started to eat. After a while she was called outside. Guard Xie Chengdong kicked her to the ground, and then beat and kicked her. This practitioner hadn't eaten for 7 days and nights, yet the policeman still gave her a vicious beating. When she woke up the next morning, she could not move at all and didn't recover until several days later.

The above is just a part of what I have witnessed. This was the situation before the middle of December 2005.

These are the names of some of the guards in the No. 1 Team of Masanjia Labor Camp who persecute Falun Gong practitioners.
