(Clearwisdom.net) Han Mei (alias) is a Falun Gong practitioner's wife. Although at present she has not completely taken up cultivation in Falun Dafa practice, she not only does housework and supports her husband in his cultivation, but also, on her own initiative, she has done things to safeguard Dafa. Listed below are some examples:

"Tell Your Daughter That She Must Not Persecute Falun Gong"

When Han Mei learned that her neighbor's daughter is a guard at the notorious Masanjia Forced Labor Camp and participates in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, Han Mei was determined to visit her family to talk to her in person. Unfortunately, the daughter was not home when she visited, so Han Mei clarified the truth to the mother instead. She told her that all who practice Falun Gong are good people, and not to believe in the communist propaganda used to carry out the persecution. Han Mei also told the mother to inform her daughter that she must make sure not to persecute Falun Gong, and that "Good is rewarded and evil provokes retribution" is a heavenly principle. She said the daughter must leave herself an escape route. The old woman replied immediately, "When my daughter comes back, I must tell her not to do such dishonorable things."

"As A Security Officer, You Cannot Talk Nonsense"

One day when Han Mei went to throw out the trash, she saw several people engaged in a heated discussion about the pollution in the Songhua River and overheard a community security officer saying, "The pollution is poison that Falun Gong put in." She immediately walked over and told him sternly, "As a security officer, you should not talk nonsense. People practicing Falun Gong are all good people; how can they be the ones that polluted the river? This was an accident caused by the Jilin Chemical Plant. It was written up in the newspaper." Upon hearing these words, the security guard immediately lowered his head and became silent. The people at the scene all agreed with her.

"Only This Sentence Will Be Able to Rescue You"

When Han Mei learned that a classmate from middle school had breast cancer, she and another schoolmate went to visit her in the hospital. This schoolmate's cancer had already proliferated, and she could not move her lower limbs. Han Mei said, "As an old schoolmate, please believe what I'm going to tell you. I am telling you that now only Falun Dafa will be able to rescue you. First, announce the 'Three Withdrawals,' [declarations stating one's intention to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations] and then say in your heart the sentence, 'Falun Dafa is good' daily." The sick schoolmate said excitedly, "I believe this. I will listen to you. I will announce immediately the 'Three Withdrawals' and say 'Falun Dafa is good' all day long." This schoolmate's condition stabilized from then on and even exhibited certain changes for the better. The schoolmate who came along and heard what Han Mei said, wrote the "Three Withdrawals" as well.

Upon Receiving Good Fortune, She Attributes It to Teacher's Grace

One day late at night, her husband was on duty and was not at the home. Han Mei suddenly had an attack of cholecystitis. It was so painful that she could not even make a phone call. She thought that she was about to die; however, she suddenly thought of saying "Falun Dafa is good," and asked Teacher Li to rescue her. After she recited it over 10 times, sweat covered her whole body and her clothes became wet. She then fell asleep for over 30 minutes. When she woke up, her whole body felt light and she no longer felt ill. She knew that it was Falun Dafa that had saved her, and her heart was filled with gratitude toward Master.

Han Mei is candid and good-hearted. She asks for nothing and does not have fear in her heart when she clarifies the truth and safeguards Dafa. Sometimes she takes truth-clarification materials and gives them to the vendors in the market or peasants selling vegetables. And whenever she hears misunderstandings about Dafa, she will go over and explain the truth. After the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published, Han Mei has been disseminating it and urging her relatives to quit the communist party. She often says, "As the family member of a Dafa practitioner, we know the wonderfulness of Dafa and the evilness of the CCP. We understand the unjust treatment Dafa practitioners receive. If we don't stand up for them, who will?"
