Government Officials in Mengyin City, Shandong Province, Beat Woman and Children

(Clearwisdom.net) On October 31, 2005, more than a dozen officials went to practitioner Ms. Ren Liangxiu's home. The officials included village committee members Feng Chuanxi, Feng Jiagong, and Feng Chuanqui (all male) from Nanjishan Village, Tanbu County, Mengyin City; Song Hairong (female, who is responsible for persecuting Falun Gong); 610 Office director Liu Zhen; deputy director Wang Mingjun; military director Li Zongmin; police station director Li Haitao, and more than 10 others.

They jumped and pushed Ms. Ren to the ground, handcuffed her, and dragged her on the ground for more than 50 meters. As soon as her children saw this, they tried to rescue her. The officials hit and kicked the children. Her teenage son was thrown to the floor and they stepped on him. They dragged her teenage daughter by her hair and threw her to the ground several times. Her niece was also beaten until her entire body was bruised.

As soon as the neighbors heard the noise, they came out of their homes to stop the violent beatings. When they asked the officials why they were hitting people, they received no reply. As the officials were unable to gain the upper hand, they left.
