(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners illegally held in the Jilin Province Prison are suffering from severe torture every day. Especially in the Third Division, prison guards have purposefully made the living conditions very odious. Within only 160 square meters, they held 160 practitioners. Sometimes everyone could only get one cup of water to drink at night. The persecution in the prison is continuing and the prison guards are doing bad things every day.

Recently the Prison in Jilin Province has escalated the persecution. Starting in September, the prison guards carried out a new round of inhumane persecution. Practitioners Mr. Zhu Dexiang and Mr. Zhang Wenfeng refused to cooperate with the prison guards' orders. Because of this, both of them were held in a maximum security cell for over one month. Practitioner Mr. Jin Chengquan was subjected to the torture method of "locking up in a small cell" (1) and was held there for over one month. Practitioner Mr. Yuan Junfeng refused to follow the prison guards' orders and refused to wear a nametag. Because of this, he was dragged into the center of the main courtyard to be tortured.

The guards at Jilin Province Prison also persecute those prisoners who have helped Falun Dafa practitioners. Some of the prisoners were held in maximum security cells, while others were tortured with "locking up in a small cell." Inmate Mr. Cheng Peng was held in a maximum security cell for one month after the prison guards found a copy of Hong Yin where he was being held.

Detainees have to urinate and defecate in the cell. Only half of a regular meal is served to detainees locked up in a small cell during the daytime. During the night, rats run about.
