(Clearwisdom.net) At dawn on the first morning of the year 2006, a group
of practitioners gathered on the square at front of the Taoyuan County
Government building. They started the exercises, and got ready for the New
Year's Day Flag Raising Ceremony.

Two hours later, as the eastern sky was brightening, more and more people
gathered on the square. Seeing that the practitioners had been doing the
exercises for a while, they showed their heartfelt admiration. Many people were
surprised, and said, "Falun Gong came so early!" Other asked,
"What group is that?" When they saw the banners with "Falun Dafa,
Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," they understood at once.

The first program after the ceremony was the demonstration of Falun Gong
exercises, with the beautiful exercise music in the background. People watched
attentively and some even started to learn the exercises.
As the truth of Dafa goes broad and deep, people have changed their ideas
about Falun Dafa drastically, from initial indifference in 1999 when the
persecution started, to now being sympathetic, understanding and welcoming of
Dafa.

Party"
A brand New Year has come. The persecution against the Falun Gong by the
Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been going on for over six years. As the trend
of "Quitting the Party" vigorously continues (nearly 7 million people
have quit the CCP), and as more and more people have awakened, righteousness and
justice will come soon!
