Kyushu, Japan: Practitioners Protest Persecution in Front of Chinese Consulate in Fukuoka (Photo)
By a practitioner in Japan
(Clearwisdom.net) On December 31, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners in the
Kyushu area gathered outside the Chinese Consulate in Fukuoka to protest the
Chinese Communist regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners that
has lasted for more than six years. At 6:30 p.m., practitioners assembled along
the wall of the park opposite the Chinese Consulate. Some practitioners sent
forth righteous thoughts and some practitioners held banners reading, "Falun
Dafa is Great." At the beginning of the activity, Japanese police officers in front of the
Chinese Consulate patrolled in front of the practitioners. Seeing that the
practitioners were protesting peacefully, they felt assured and came over to
inquire about the content of the banners. A practitioner explained to the police
what Falun Gong is and told about the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese
Communist regime. The police officer on duty could not help saying, "[Falun
Dafa] is great!" The practitioners' peaceful and righteous words and
actions moved the police. They said they would carefully read the Nine
Commentaries on the Communist Party, to more fully understand the evil
nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). They said they wanted to read
Zhuan Falun as well, to learn about the grand strength of
Falun Dafa's "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." A little after one o'clock in the morning of January 1, 2006, after sending
forth righteous thoughts for the last time, Falun Gong practitioners greeted the
first light of morning of the New Year.
