(Clearwisdom.net) Teacher told us in Zhuan Falun that because of the difference between cultivation disciplines, cultivating speech for Falun Dafa practitioners is different from other specialized cultivation ways. However, minding what we as practitioners say, is still important.

"When we open our mouths to speak we should speak in line with a practitioner's character," "What we hold ourselves to are the requirements for a practitioner's character, and it'll be fine as long as you handle well what you should and shouldn't say."

But I notice that some practitioners, including myself, often forget about minding our speech. This is a loophole in our cultivation. If we don't pay attention to this on a large scale, it may damage our Fa-validation efforts.

Several days ago, a practitioner said to my mother, "October 1st is coming. The police are looking for those homeless practitioners. They are going to look for you soon." My mother and I heard this and we thought that we should negate the persecution of practitioners who are homeless, and that we should also negate what this practitioner said to us.

After hearing what this practitioner said, I sent righteous thoughts at once to negate these words. I saw my mother in a very deep dimension and in mid-air, hung the words that practitioner had said, exactly as we had heard it. The way that sentence seemed to exist was similar to an order that is input into a computer, waiting to be executed. It was not exactly like that, but it gave a feeling that the sentence would be carried out sooner or later.

I was shocked. I only knew from studying the Fa that what we practitioners say carries energy. Since I talk a lot in daily life, after a while, I stopped paying much attention to minding my speech anymore. I didn't realize that what we say is actually recorded somewhere, and stays somewhere in a form of material existence. I sent forth strong righteous thoughts to clear away that sentence. Strong energy went out from my body and the sentence in that other dimension broke up immediately.

Later, I reflected on my own cultivation of speech. I knew that I didn't do well in minding my words, especially with regard to family issues. I wanted to correct myself but didn't succeed. I wanted to clean up my own dimensions. Using my Celestial Eye, I saw, in my own dimensions, so many sentences, one after another, that they covered a big mountain! I was very anxious. None of these sentences were in accordance with the Fa. How could I cultivate like this! I wanted to clean them out, but there were so many of them that I almost lost my confidence. At this moment a single thought appeared, "All of what I have said in the past, if it is not up to the standard of the Fa, let it all be cleaned up and do not let it have any effect." As soon as I had this thought, all those words were gone! This was much easier than when I sent righteous thoughts to clean up the sentence said by that other practitioner, and it was much cleaner. Of course what I saw was only at a low level.

Afterward, I remembered many times when meeting with fellow practitioners, especially since the persecution started, how so many times what we talk about is based on human considerations. We use our life experiences and everyday people's logic to comment, criticize, or even make decisions. In this way many things are possibly negatively affected.

In order to mind our speech, the first very basic step is actually minding our thoughts. If our thoughts are righteous, we would not say anything which should not be said by practitioners. I saw what I saw today, and it made me realize the seriousness of the Fa our Teacher taught us. But I only believed it when I saw it, I did not take it seriously when I didn't see it; isn't my enlightenment poor? I realized now that every sentence Teacher said is Fa. We should "let each and everything be measured against the Fa. Only then, with that, is it actually cultivation." (Hong Yin)

I would also like to wish Teacher a happy Mid-Autumn Festival.

The above are my personal thoughts, please point out anything improper.
