The Forced Labor Camp of Handan City has been extending the detention time of those Falun Dafa practitioners who steadfastly practice Dafa, and refuses to release them. Among the practitioners held, Ms. Lu Jianmin from Xingtai City in Hebei Province completed her term in April 2006, as did many other practitioners. All of them, however, are still being held.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhao Shuyuan was called in to see on-duty police by security guards when she was distributing truth-clarification materials in the Dafuyuan Supermarket of Qiqihar City, at about 8:00 p.m. on August 18, 2006. Later, she was illegally taken away by police officers from the Zhengyang Police Station. Reportedly, in order to find out the source of the truth-clarification materials, the police officers brutally beat Ms. Zhao all night long. Her husband, although not a practitioner, was also held for one night. Zhao Shuyuan is currently being held in the No. 1 Detention Center.

Practitioner Ms. Li Ping was illegally arrested by police officers from the Zhengyang Police Station. The officers were waiting for her downstairs when she returned home from grocery shopping at about 10:00 p.m. on August 22, 2006. Ms. Li Ping was also taken to the No. 1 Detention Center. In recent days, another eighteen practitioners have been arrested.

Practitioner Mr. Xu Zhaobo from Likaibao Village, Liaoyang County, was forcibly arrested at his workplace. During the arrest, his upper body was stripped naked.

5. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Many Practitioners' Homes Ransacked and Practitioners Arrested

In recent days, many practitioners from Suihua City were arrested and their homes were ransacked. At present we have learned that two practitioners have been arrested and one practitioner's home was ransacked (the practitioner was not home and thus escaped arrest). Reportedly, more than twenty practitioners have been added to a list to be arrested.

According to news leaked from the local police department, a conspiracy is plotted in the release of practitioner Ms. Chen Yingjun from Chengdu City who was arrested on April 25, 2006. The police are attempting to use Ms. Chen Yingjun as "bait" to arrest more practitioners.

Since the arrest of practitioner Ms. Zhu Yifan, from Chengdu City on April 25, 2006, she has been held in the detention center of Guangyuan City, which is her hometown. Ms. Zhu Yifang has been on a hunger strike for an extended period of time to protest the illegal arrest, and her physical condition is now very poor. Recently, news indicated that Ms. Zhu Yifang is facing an illegal trial on October 13, 2006.

At about 10:30 a.m. on September 8, 2006, six to seven police officers from Rizhuang Town, Laixi City, suddenly broke into the home of practitioner Mr. Zhang Naifu from Daishu Village, Rizhuang Town. They ransacked the home and took photos without going through any legal procedures. A police officer forcibly handcuffed Mr. Zhang and pushed him into the police car. During the illegal ransacking of Mr. Zhang's home, police confiscated all of the Falun Dafa books, two printers, all of the truth-clarification materials, as well as other items.

Practitioner Mr. Yang Yuezeng who lived in Songyuan City, Jilin Province is 41 years old. He is from Jiangyuan County in Jilin Province. Mr. Yang was arrested in Songyuan City in Jilin Province and his whereabouts are unknown. The whereabouts of his wife and daughter are also unknown.

On May 14, 2006, practitioners Ms. Chuai Cuijun, Ms. Chen Baihe, Ms. Zhang Guilan, Ms. Wang Xiuhua, and a driver, Mr. Liu Yunjiang, were arrested by police in Yuhuzhai Township. Since then, they have been illegally held, fined, had blood forcibly drawn, and were also force-fed with salt water. They were also subjected to deceptions as well as other torture methods.

On September 6, 2006, the Qianxi County Court attempted to hold an illegal trial against these four practitioners and the driver, but failed due to a lack of evidence. The case was returned to the Qianxi County Procuratorate. As of now, practitioners Ms. Chuai Cuijun and Ms. Chen Baihe have been held illegally in the Detention Center of Qianxi County for over four and a half months. Police are still refusing to release them. In addition, their family members are forbidden to visit.

Practitioners Mr. Wang Jianguo, Ms. Si Yurong and her husband, and Ms. Cheng Xueyin and her husband, were illegally arrested on the afternoon of September 14, 2006 when they went out to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa. 12. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Li Sulan Harassed by Police

On September 28, 2006, police went to harass practitioner Ms. Li Sulan at her home. She was at work at the time. The police were still hiding at her home in the evening. Previously, Ms. Li had been tortured in the Haidian District of Beijing City and suffered from severe bleeding for half a year. Her eyesight was seriously impaired due to edema. Her hair had been pulled out, with only a small amount remaining.

At 8:30 a.m. on September 10, 2006, the Yuzhou District Court held an illegal trial against practitioners Ms. He Aiping, Mr. Huang Ruoguan and Mr. Yang Wei.

14. [Beijing City] Practitioner Mr. Zhang Boshu and Many of His Family Members Arrested

On the evening of September 21, 2006, the mother, the eldest sister, and the third elder sister of practitioner Mr. Zhang Boshu from Fengtai District were taken away from their home by police. They are currently being held in the detention center of the Police Department of Fengtai District. Mr. Zhang was not at home when his family members were taken away. Later when he went home to get something, he was also arrested by the police still hiding there. The location of where he is being held is not clear.

On September 28, 2006, when practitioners Ms. Liang Ying and Ms. Li Shujun from Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou City in Hebei Province were clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa in Shangcang Village, Tianjiayao Town, Qicheng County, they were arrested by police from the Police Station of Tianjiayao Town. On the same day, they were illegally held in the Detention Center of Qicheng County. On the morning of September 29, 2006, they were then transferred and are illegally held in the Detention Center of Zhangjiakou City.

At about 10:00 a.m. on September 28, 2006, more than ten people from the Police Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous, the State Security Bureau of Huhhot City and the Police Station of Gangtielu Road broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Bai Yushe and arrested her. They also confiscated some of the truth-clarification materials.

18. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Many Practitioners Arrested; Ms. Sun Huijun Stopped Breathing Due to Torture

At 8:00 a.m. on September 5, 2006, the Renzhao Police Station of Pingdu City in Shandong Province mobilized over ten police officers to illegally break into and ransack the homes of practitioners Mr. Sun Kuixun and Mr. Sun Kelin from Sunjiahui Village, Renzhao Town, and also into the home of practitioner Mr. Zheng Zhijun from Zhengjiaguan Village. The police confiscated all of the Falun Dafa truth-clarification materials and also arrested practitioners Mr. Sun Kelin, Mr. Zheng Zhijun, Mr. Sun Kuixun, and his younger sister Ms. Sun Huijun. Mr. Zheng Zhijun was taken to the Brainwashing Center of Pingdu City. The whereabouts of Mr. Sun Kelin is not clear. Mr. Sun Kuixun and his younger sister Ms. Sun Huijun were illegally held in the Detention Center of Pingdu City, where they were subjected to torture.

On September 13, 2006, Mr. Sun Kuixun and Ms. Sun Huijun were forcibly taken to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp where they were subjected to torture. Mr. Sun Kuixun was subjected to brutal force-feeding and was tortured nearly to death. The Wangcun Forced Labor Camp refused to take him in fear of taking the responsibility. Ms. Sun Huijun had a tooth knocked out during the process of being force-fed. She stopped breathing during the physical examination and was taken to the hospital for emergency rescue. It is not clear whether she is alive or has died.

At about 2:00 p.m. on September 19, 2006, police officer Li Ze (male) and others arrested practitioner Ms. Cao Guimin from her home and directly took her to the Forced Labor Camp of Kaiping District where she was subjected to torture. Around 3:00 a.m., they went to knock on the door of practitioner Ms. Wang Guiqin's home and woke up Ms. Wang and her grandson. Li Ze attempted to arrest Ms. Wang Guiqin by grabbing and pulling her. Ms. Wang Guiqin used the excuse of changing her clothes and escaped. Li Ze and others waited until 5:00 a.m. before they unwillingly gave up and left.

According to news obtained on September 23, 2006, practitioner Mr. Sun Sanlong from Pingshan County in Hebei Province was arrested around August 25, 2006 when he was distributing truth-clarification materials in Yu County of Shanxi Province. He has been held in the Detention Center of Yu County in Shanxi Province for one month.

Practitioner Mr. Shan Fugui from Tanbu Town of Mengyin County was reported to police when he was posting truth-clarification materials. At 8:00 a.m. on September 19, 2006, Liu Zhen (male), the Director of the 610 Office of Tanbu Town, and Li Haitao (male), the Chief of the Police Station, led more than twenty people to surround the home of Mr. Shan Fuhui in an attempt to arrest Mr. Shan. Police forcibly broke the doors of Mr. Shan's home and then confiscated Falun Dafa books, truth-clarification materials, a VCR, some cash, some bills and other items. Mr. Shan Fugui is now forced to stay away from home to avoid arrest.

At 10:00 a.m. on September 26, 2006, police officer Lin Shufang (male) from the Fengguang Police Station, Jishu Police Department of the Police Department of Shulan City, secretly came to the home of practitioner Mr. Zou Weiqi. When he found the door locked, he illegally climbed over the garden wall and broke into the home. After seeing that Mr. Zou was home, he called other police officers at the police station. Later, other police officers arrived and forcibly took Mr. Zou away. Mr. Zou Weiqi is being held illegally and subjected to torture in the Nanshan Detention Center of Shulan City

At 3:00 p.m. on September 20, 2006, officers from Hongxi Police Station of the Zhongqu Police Department, Jining City, entered the homes of practitioners who worked in the Xingdong Elementary School and arrested them.

25. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Information on Arrested Practitioner Ms. Chen Peijun

Practitioner Ms. Chen Peijun is about 41 years old and is from Jieyang City. Her home is located in Room 702, the No. 4 Section of Taoyuanju Region, Baoan District of Shenzhen City. On the evening of September 23, 2006, Ms. Chen Peijun was arrested at her home by the 610 Office of Shenzhen City. Her whereabouts are not clear at present. A male fellow practitioner was arrested together with Ms. Chen. The male practitioner had gone to visit Ms. Chen at her home that evening.

Since 1999, Ms. Chen Peijun has been listed as the key target of persecution by the 610 Office of Shenzhen City, which has been closely monitoring her since November 25, 2003. After they found the site that produced truth-clarification materials, they initiated a large-scale arrest of Falun Dafa practitioners in Shenzhen City. Ms. Chen was illegally held for eight months before her husband spent between 100-700 thousand yuan and used personal connections to get her released on bail. At that time, because she had four children at home with no one to take care of them, her husband was unable to bear the severe stress, and he later passed away from illnesses in 2005. She is carrying heavy debts. Now, Ms. Chen Peijun has been arrested again, and her four children are left unattended.

The truth-clarification materials production site of Taoyuan County, Changde City in Hunan Province was damaged by the Police Department of Changde City. The homes of all of the Falun Dafa practitioners from Jizou Town and Jizou City were ransacked. Practitioner Ms. Dong Fuyun from Changde City in Hunan Province (about 70 years old) has been missing since she left home one day in December 2005.

Several days ago, practitioner Ms. Feng Liping from Shenzhen City, and two other practitioners, were arrested by police. They are currently held illegally in the Jiuwei Detention Center of Baoan District of Shenzhen City.

28. [Chongqing City] Practitioners Including Ms. Zhang Chengying and Ms. Zhao Xinmei Arrested

At about 6:00 p.m. on September 26, 2006, seven to eight police officers broke into practitioner Ms. Zhang Chengying's home, and although they did not ransack the home, they forcibly took away Ms. Zhang Chengying.

At around 7:00 p.m., police broke into another practitioner, Ms. Zhao Xinmei's home. They confiscated several copies of truth-clarification materials and also forcibly took Ms. Zhao away.

In addition, around September 10, 2006, practitioner Ms. Li, whose home is located in the Dadukou District of Chongqing City, was also arrested. Ms, Li was previously held in the Maojiashan Women's Forced Labor Camp of Chongqing City. Prior to the arrest, Ms. Li was constantly harassed by police and was also forced to leave home in order to avoid being arrested.

At about 9:30 a.m. on September 26, 2006, police officer Yang Qinyou from the Chengdong Town Police Station of Mei County, Meizhou City in Guangdong Province colluded with seven to eight people from the Baohua Police Station of Mei County as well as the 610 Office of Mei County to forcibly arrest practitioner Ms. Cai Xiaomei, who was working in her barber shop on Keji Road, Huaqiaocheng District of Mei County. Ms. Cai Xiaomei is currently being held in the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp.

On December 3, 2005, police officers, including Han Yu (male) and Wan Jian (male) from the Chengxi Police Station of Chongzhou City under Chengdu City in Sichuan Province arrested practitioner Ms. Liu Shaoqing. Ms. Liu almost lost her life when she was brutally beaten in the detention center. Her family members have repeatedly looked for the relevant institutions as well as the persons in charge, and have requested Ms. Liu's unconditional release. However, the criminal court of the Chongzhou City Court secretly sentenced Ms. Liu Shaoqing to three-and-a-half years of forced labor on June 30, 2006. Her family members went there to appeal, but the appeal was overturned. Ms. Liu Shaoqing was taken to the No. 2 Division of the Prison of Deyang City where she is being tortured.
