(Clearwisdom.net) Our three-day truth-clarification van tour along the coast north of Sydney came to an end on October 11, 2006. Here are some stories from the tour.

  1. The first place we visited was a town north of Sydney. We clarified the truth and collected signatures in the downtown area. 60-year old practitioner Ms. He doesn't speak English, so she smiled and greeted passersby, then showed them the petition. Many people understood what was going on after reading the petition, and signed their names. For those, who didn't understand, Ms. He showed them other truth-clarifying materials, and then they would also sign their names. Ms. He felt that in addition to the passersby on the street, she should also let the people in the stores know the truth. So, she went into the stores and collected signatures. Once, she went into a flower store, and asked everybody in the store to sign the names on the petition. They did. Before she left, the owner of the store gave her a bouquet, and said it was a free gift for her. Ms. He thanked the owner. The flowers accompanied us for the whole trip.
  2. Newcastle was the fourth city that we visited, and was also the last one in the first day of the van tour. It was already 5:00 pm when we finished the talk with the mayor and the interview with a local newspaper. We tried to collect more signatures before dark.
  3. Lindsay, a 10-year old practitioner, went to a bus station with his mother. There were 6 people waiting for the bus. Lindsay asked three young men to sign their names on the petition, and told them about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. They all signed the names. A man saw them, so he came to Lindsay and read the truth-clarifying materials. He signed his name and said to Lindsay: "It is horrible, isn't it? I have some friends in the hotel nearby. Can I take this petition to them and ask them to sign?" He took several copies of truth-clarifying materials and the petition and went back to the hotel. After a while, he came again with several signatures. His friends greeted and smiled to Lindsay and his mother.

  4. The seventh city visited was a small river town with population of 46,000. The mayor and the citizens welcomed us. The mayor said that the persecution should stop, and he would write to the Australian government, asking the government to take action to stop the persecution. The collection of signatures went very well too. 90% people signed their names immediately.

Ms. He asked a gentleman and his elderly mother to sign the names. The gentleman read the truth-clarifying materials carefully and signed his name. He, then told his mother about the persecution. He shook hands with Ms He. Although Ms. He didn't understand what he said, she can tell from his eyes that he had sympathy for the practitioners who have been persecuted in China. His mother gave Ms. He a hug. She felt their support even though she can't speak English.

One young girl told practitioners that she had already learned about the organ harvesting from the newspaper. She said that she was very happy to help to stop the horrible thing.

Before the end of the day, Ms. He asked two guards at a mall to sign their names. She gave them the truth-clarifying material. She felt that she should clarify the truth to everybody and not leave out anyone. The guards smiled to her and signed names.
