As Dictated by Li Zhen and Written Down by Li Chun

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a farmer in a village in Shandong Province and I would like to share my experiences of cultivating in Falun Dafa.

On July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, blotting out the sky and covering up the earth with their evil lies. Before this, my wife was a steadfast Falun Dafa disciple, but I was a stubborn believer in the CCP because of the indoctrination I had received at the hands of the Party beginning in my youth. I regarded their lies as truth of the highest order and drifted with the tide of the evil environment. I was very fearful of opposing the Party and I believed their lies, so I used violence to stop my wife from studying or practicing Falun Gong. I cursed her, beat her, burned the Dafa materials, and destroyed Dafa magazines. Soon thereafter I was diagnosed with cancer.

It is a heavenly principle that good is rewarded with good and that evil provokes retribution. The sins and the karma that I had created caused the gods to punish me. I was trapped and felt that I would be better off dead, so I wished to die. Not only that, we were also very poor and we could not afford the high cost of medical treatment. I also knew that injections, medicines, and chemical cures would be "buying pain relief with money," and that they would not solve the essential problem.

It is Falun Dafa that is good! My wife, relatives, and other fellow practitioners came to try to persuade me to cultivate Falun Gong. I wanted to live, so I decided to give it a try. (I have since learned the correct principles regarding illness)

I started reading the book Zhuan Falun and began to understand how profound Falun Dafa is. It can elevate peoples' morality, upgrade their character, and lead them back to their original true selves. I began to realize how the evil Party had cheated me and others with its lies and slander. I had actually believed its false propaganda, and I felt so terribly remorseful for my actions. Now I knew I needed to correct my mistakes and follow the path that Master arranged for me. I began to cultivate Falun Dafa with steadfast righteous thoughts and deeds.

Now I no longer need injections or medicines. I am doing the exercises every day, my health is getting better and better, and I do not have any fear. Falun Dafa had given me a second life. I decided to follow only Master, do the three things well and be such a strong disciple that Master will not have to worry about me.

Now, besides studying Falun Dafa and doing the exercises, I use my own experiences to spread the Fa and clarify the truth to others. I hope my experiences can especially awaken the farmers who have been, for so long, regarded as outsiders by the CCP. Now there are many people who know the truth, have seen the power of Falun Dafa with their own eyes, and who have also stepped onto the road of cultivation. In the near future, all the people who have had their consciences awakened by practitioners, will be saved.
