Japan Today (newspaper): CCP Urged to Stop Atrocity of Harvesting Organs


(Clearwisdom.net) Japan Today reported on October 10, 2006, that a former Canadian government official said on Monday that the 2008 Olympic Games are approaching, but China's human rights record is still worsening. If the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime continues harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners, he will call for boycotting the Olympic Games in China.

The article stated that former Canadian Secretary of State for Asia and Pacific, Mr. David Kilgour, and human rights lawyer Mr. David Matas released an investigative report this July. They said that the report reveals the CCP's systematic persecution against Falun Gong practitioners.

Kilgour said during his visit in Hong Kong that if the CCP human rights record continues worsening, and if the organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners is not stopped, many people, including Matas and himself will call for boycotting the Olympic Games.
