Before I understood the truth about Falun Gong, I was deceived by CCTV and my school, just the same as all the other students in China. Whenever I heard about Falun Gong, I always thought about self-immolations and suicides. I was scared of it. At that time, I was in elementary school.

In order to find work, my parents and I moved to the provincial capital. Around our rental property, I could often see the words, "Falun Dafa is good." One morning, I picked up a booklet on my way to school. I was curious and read it in detail. The content was about how the Tiananmen Square self-immolations were fabricated by CCTV in order to defame Falun Gong and deceive the Chinese people. I was confused. Were my trusted school and CCTV telling lies? I wanted to find the real answer.

Since my parents were busy making a living, they paid less attention to me. I was addicted to Internet cafes and could not control myself. My grades at school went down quickly. At this time, I met a Falun Gong practitioner, my father's cousin. When I had difficulties learning, he always mentored me. In addition, he taught me calligraphy after school. No matter how naughty I was, instead of physically punishing me, he always patiently urged me to reform my behavior. With his help, I overcame the addiction to Internet games.

While staying with my father's cousin, I was deeply moved by the kindness and the pure hearts of Falun Gong practitioners. Finally, I had found the answer to my question.

He played a video program for me that analyzed the Tiananmen Square self-immolations. In the slow motion analysis, I saw that a lady was murdered by a blunt object striking the back of her head. Her daughter was seriously burned, yet the officials showed her with bandages tightly wrapping her (not the usual treatment for burn victims). In addition, she was purported to have just had a tracheotomy, yet she spoke and sang clearly in a TV interview, a medical impossibility. A man was shown to have been badly burned while his hair and the plastic Sprite bottle that he had used to dowse gasoline remained miraculously intact. My uncle even told me that self-immolations were sudden incidents, so why would the police immediately have a dozen fire extinguishers ready to go on Tiananmen Square? How could news reporters happen to be present to catch the whole scene? These facts suggest that the Tiananmen Square self-immolations were just fabrications of CCTV, the same as shooting a movie. After learning the truth, I felted deceived like I had never experienced in my life. How could my country and my school lie to me?

Later, I had a chance to read the "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party." I learned about the great current of withdrawals from the CCP and understood the real history of the CCP. I could not imagine that the CCP was so evil that instead of fighting with Japan, it only occupied lands and developed its strength. After seizing political power, it caused 80 million unnatural deaths for the Chinese people. Currently, the CCP is persecuting Falun Gong. Many benign Falun Gong practitioners have been jailed, have suffered from various tortures, and have even had their organs harvested while they were still alive.

I decided to resign from the Young Pioneers of the CCP and stayed away from the party. Once I went back to my old village to apply for identification. I saw "Falun Dafa is good" written on the wall and the corridor of the police department. I like to read "Minghui Weekly." After reading it, I like to put it at the front door of other people's homes. I will tell the whole truth about Falun Gong to my classmates, help them to resign from the CCP and its affiliated organizations, and together we will welcome a new China without the CCP.
