(Clearwisdom.net) 1. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Several Falun Gong Practitioners
Arrested and Homes Ransacked Agents from the Beilin District Police Department, from the 610
Office and local police stations in Suihua City recently broke into
practitioners' houses. It is confirmed that several practitioners have been
arrested. They include Ms. Liu Jizhi, Ms. Li Ping, Ms. Li Shufen, Wang Guang,
Ms. Zhang Shuqing, Mr. Chen Shufan, and Sun, a school principal. Their houses
were ransacked. Wang Guang is being held at the No.1 Detention Center. (Country code: 86. Area code: 455. Do not dial area code before cell
phone numbers.) 2. [Liaoning Province] Practitioners Tortured at the Jinzhou City Prison In order to force practitioners to give up their belief, Tight Administration
Team police officers at Jinzhou City Prison set up five sets of a torture
instrument called a "Baodeng" to use on practitioners. The torture
instrument is composed of a wooden stake with two metal rings, upper and lower,
to put a practitioner's hands and feet in. Then the practitioner is handcuffed
and shackled. Thus the practitioner is locked in position holding the wooden
stake, unable to move. This device is left on for several days. It is said that
anyone tortured with the "Baodeng" seven days or longer will be
disabled. Li Xiuyan, prison inspection section chief: 86-13304168968 (Cell) 3. [Huining County, Jiangsu Province] Practitioner Ms. Su Zhifeng Could Not
Walk or Speak Due to Severe Torture Practitioner Ms. Su Zhifeng lives in Huicheng Township, Huining County,
Jiangsu Province. Police tried all kinds of tactics to arrest her because she
often clarified the truth to local people and exposed the
persecution. She chose to live in exile to avoid illegal arrest. Ms.
Su's mother, a practitioner in her 60s, was arrested. Ms. Su was arrested on August 16, 2005, when she was working in Qingdao City,
Shandong Province. When her family visited her for the second time, the formerly
healthy Ms. Su was unable to speak or walk because of torture. 4. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Practitioners Ms. Sun Weizhen and Ms.
Xiao Zhiyu Arrested Personnel from the Dandong City Taoyuan Police Station arrested 66-year-old
practitioner Ms. Sun Weizhen. It happened when she was posting truth-clarifying
banners reading "Falun Dafa is Good" the morning of September 15,
2006. The police then ransacked her house and confiscated a copy of Zhuan
Falun. She is presently being held in the city's Baifang Detention
Center. Two policewomen searched practitioner Ms. Xiao Zhiyu, in her 50s, when she
was walking out of the city's Jinjiangshan Park at 7:00 p.m. on September 12,
2006. They found a couple of copies of Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials and
later ransacked Ms. Xiao's house. Practitioner Ms. Xiao is presently being held
in the city's Baifang Detention Center. 5. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Chen Lei Arrested Practitioner Ms. Chen Lei was arrested from her home at 3:00 p.m. on
September 29, 2006. Police ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, a
printer, and over 10,000 yuan in cash. They also confiscated her
90-year-old grandmother's salary deposit card. 6. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Ms. Chen Shuqin Arrested Personnel from the Changyi District at the Yunheli Police Station in Jilin
City arrested practitioner Ms. Chen Shuqin, who lives on the Lianhua Street,
when she was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong on September 24, 2006. She is
presently being held at the city's detention center. 7. [Tieling County, Liaoning Province] Personnel from the Tieling County
Police Department Arrested Practitioners Ms. Gao Xiuli and Fan Ming Tieling County Police Department Detention Center: 86-410-2870707 Jin Yongge, chief: 86-410-2870707 8. [Wangkui County, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners Including
Ms. Chen Xiujie Arrested Police arrested several practitioners including Ms. Chen Xiujie, in her 40s,
Ms. Gao, in her 60s, and Ms. Li Hua, 49 years old, at 6:00 p.m. on September 28,
2006. Ms. Li Hua escaped with the power of her righteous thoughts at night.
Police went to practitioner Ms. Zhang Hongmei's home, but she was out of town.
Police still confiscated her computer and a printer. 9. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Qin and Two Other
Practitioners Arrested About 20 officers from the Qianjin District's Heshun Police Department in
Jiamusi City broke into practitioner Ms. Li Qin's home in Aoqi Town during the
night on September 21, 2006. They arrested practitioners Ms. Li, Ms. Kong
Shanhui and Mr. Liu Dazhi. Ms. Kong Shanhui and Mr. Liu were released after being fined 3,000 yuan. Ms.
Li Qin was sent to a detention center. She was released on September 30, after
having paid a fine. 10. [Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Persecuted at the Mudanjiang City
Detention Center Practitioner Ms. Gu Fengzhi walked out of the detention center with the power
of her righteous thoughts. Ms. Song Guixiang was transferred to the Harbin City
Forced Labor Camp and her family was fined 6,000 yuan. Ms. Zhou Xiaoying is
still being held and has to pay 800 yuan a month in "accommodation
fees." Personnel from the Bei'an Police Station arrested two practitioners,
including one surnamed Wang, and put them into the No.13 Cell in the Mudanjiang
City Detention Center in August 2006. 11. [Changtu County, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Xu Zhonglin and His
Family Persecuted Practitioner Mr. Xu Zhonglin from Shuangmiaozi Town, Changtu County, Liaoning
Province ,was reported to the Cilu Police Station when distributing
truth-clarifying materials on September 15, 2006. Personnel from the Cilu and
Shuangmiaozi Police Stations attempted to arrest Mr. Xu, but heescaped. Police
then went to his home and arrested his wife and son who are not Falun Gong
practitioners. Police released them after extorting 1,500 yuan from them with

Yunxian Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Li Aizhen and Ms. Shao Yunxian from Shuncheng District,
Fushun City were arrested at Xinhua Street, Shuncheng District the afternoon of
September 21, 2006. Police ransacked their homes afterwards. They are being held
at the Fushun City Detention Center.
14. [Beijing] Senior Practitioner Ms. Shang Yonghong Sentenced to Two and a
Half Years of Forced Labor
Practitioner Ms. Shang Yonghong, an older practitioner living in the Gulou
Area, had disappeared in early 2005, right before the "Two
Conferences." It was learned afterwards that she had been sentenced to two
and a-half years of forced labor. She is presently being held at the No.1
Division at the Beijing Woman's Forced Labor Camp.
15. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Persecution of Practitioner Ms. Wang
Xiulan
Practitioner Ms. Wang Xiulan, 57 years old, is from the Tiexi District,
Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. She was taken to the Tiexi District Political
and Judiciary Committee on her way to Beijing in 1999. She was eventually
released home after her employers and family paid a "deposit" and
bailed her out. The community office head often came to her home to harass the
family from then on.
Then, in July 2000, personnel from the district's 12th Street
Police Station arrested Ms. Wang from her home and ransacked the place. Police
confiscated some Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials. Ms. Wang was
handcuffed behind her back and placed in a cage for over an hour. Then she was
taken to the district's police department. Her buttocks were beaten black and
blue. Her face was swollen from being beaten. In addition, during a stay at the
center hospital, police officers and criminal inmates beat, verbally abused and
force-fed her. Her mouth was injured and her teeth were loosened. Worst of all,
practitioner Ms. Wang was then sent to the Masanjia or Zhangshi Forced Labor
Camp for brainwashing. The practitioner couple Mr. Li Zengqi and Ms. He Xiulan from the Shunyi
District, Beijing, was arrested. One hour after the arrest, police authorities
called their family members and notified them that the couple has been sentenced
to forced labor; Ms. He Xiulan to two and a half years; Mr. Li Zengqi to two
years.
Practitioner Ms. Wang Yulan from Xibahe's East Lane, the Chaoyang District,
Beijing, was recently arrested.
17. [Beijing] Practitioners Ms. Jia Cuihuai and Ms. Zhang Li, Her Daughter,
Were Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Jia Cuihuai was reported when clarifying the truth of Falun
Gong at Xingshao Township Fair, Huairou County. Personnel from the county's 610
Office and from the local police station arrested her. Her daughter, Ms. Zhang
Li, was detained when she brought her mother money and necessities.
18. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] Practitioners Ms. Zhang Chunlin and Ms.
Wang Arrested; Ms. Wang Opts for Exile to Avoid Further Persecution
Jia Shibiao, the Hunyuang County 610 Office chief; Wu Zhihe, the county
police department deputy chief; policeman Zhai Lin; and others broke into the
homes of practitioners Ms. Zhang Chunlin and Ms. Wang. They put the two
practitioners in the county detention center. Police also broke into
practitioner Ms. Yang's home and ransacked the place. Ms. Yang has therefore
chosen to live in exile. 19. [Luoyang City, Henan Province] Plainclothes Police Follow and Arrest Two
Practitioners
20. [Li County, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Guo Jungu Sent to a Forced
Labor Camp
Practitioners Ms. Guo Jungu and Mr. Cui Xiaowu from Li County, Hebei
Province, were reported and later arrested. It happened when they were
distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials at around 10:00 p.m. on
September 1, 2006. The two families were fined 16,000 yuan, but the
practitioners were still sent to a forced labor camp in Baoding City. Mr. Cui
was released following a physical exam, but Ms. Guo was sent into forced labor.
The extorted sum of 8,000 yuan from Ms. Guo's family has been returned. 21. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Shi Meifeng, an
Employee from the Shengli Oil Field, Held at a Brainwashing Center
Shengli Oilfield employee Ms. Shi Meifeng's supervisor called the
practitioner for a meeting. As soon as she arrived the morning of September 18,
2006, police agents arrested her. The police then ransacked her home. Ms. Shi is
being held at a brainwashing center at the Gas-Oil Centralized Transportation
Section.

Personnel from the Ci County National Security Division and from a local
police station arrested practitioner Mr. Chang Xichao from Guanglu Village, Ci
County, Handan City on September 29, 2006.

24. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Weidong District Court Tries
Practitioners
The Weidong District Court in Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, held a trial
for practitioners Ms. Yan Xiuying, Mr. Han Dongshun, Mr. Nie Shengwei at around
4:00 p.m. on September 27, 2006. More than 50 practitioners came to the court.
The court officers, noticing all the practitioners, had someone take photographs
of the practitioners. The court hastily finished the trial at around 5:30 p.m.
and then sent the three practitioners back to the Pindingshan City Detention
Center.
25. [Rushan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Li Yuezih Arrested Practitioner Ms. Li Yuezhi from Maling Village, Zhuwang Town, Rushan City,
Shandong Province, was arrested on September 25, 2006. Her Dafa books were
confiscated. She is presently being held at the Rushan Detention Center. 26. [Zhuolu County, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhang Jun from Xiguan
Village, Zhuolu Town Is Arrested on September 30, 2006, When He was Distributing

phone numbers. ) 27. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Practitioners Mr. Nie Shengwei and
Ms. Yang Xiuying Are Facing Illegal Trial 28. [Baise City, Guangxi Province] Practitioner Ms. Zhang Suxue Arrested After practitioner Mr. Huang Yuxuan was arrested, seven or eight policemen
were waiting outside of the practitioner's home for about four days. They
arrested a practitioner surnamed Xu at about 6:00 p.m. on September 21, 2006 and
practitioner Ms. Zhang Suxue on September 27. They also searched the two
practitioners' houses. 29. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Ms. Liu Yu Sentenced In March 2006, Longgang District Court sentenced practitioner Ms. Liu Yu to
four years of imprisonment. The court prevented Ms. Liu from defending herself.
She later appealed, but the case remained unresolved in the Shenzhen
Intermediate Court. 30. [Honghe State, Yunan Province] Practitioner Ms. Liu Yan Secretly Sent to
the Kunming City Dabanqiao Forced Labor Camp for a Two-Year Term on September
28, 2006 31. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Mr. Wang Xianyu and
Others Arrested Practitioner Mr. Wang Xianyu from Shenzhen City was arrested from home on
September 23, 2006. Practitioners Mr. Li Hongzhou, Ms. Chen and another
practitioner were all arrested on the same day. 32. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Practitioners Ms. Zhou Yuyan and Ms.
Zhang Qinxiu Arrested Practitioners Ms. Zhou Yuyan and Ms. Zhang Qinxiu from Suining City were
arrested near the Changhong Shopping Center in the South Suizhou Road during the
morning of October 1, 2006, when they were distributing truth-clarifying
materials. 33. [Hubei Province] Ms. Yang Xinlan from the Jianghan Oil Field Sent to the
Tangxunhu Brainwashing Center for Persecution Ms. Yang Xinlan is a retired employee of the Exploration Section of the
Jianghan Oil Field in Hubei Province. Personnel from the retired section enticed
her to the office under false pretenses. Policemen waiting there arrested her at
about 10:00 a.m. on September 5, 2006. She was sent to the Tangxunhu
Brainwashing Center in Wuhan City for persecution. October 1, 2006
