Attending Master's Lectures in Changchun

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a Falun Gong practitioner from Changchun. I would like to share some stories about the time I spent with Master. Regarding the experiences that many other practitioners have already shared, I won't repeat them here.

Master started to spread Falun Gong in the form of qigong exercises in mid-May 1992. At that time, Master was very busy. I heard that Master rode a bicycle and took his daughter to some parks to spread Falun Gong. It was pretty difficult in the beginning. Later, Falun Gong received wonderful attention at both the 1992 and 1993 Eastern Heath Expo Conferences. From that time Falun Gong spread rapidly all over China.

After I read China Falun Gong in 1993, I decided to start practicing Falun Gong. I attended the Seventh Lecture Session in Changchun City from April 29 to May 8, 1994. The lecture was held at the Mingfang Hall in Jilin University. Because so many people, from 3,000 to 4,000, attended Master's lectures, Master split practitioners into two classes, one in the morning, the other in the evening. The lectures each lasted for ten days. Usually the lecture was an hour and a half and during the remaining half hour Master taught the exercises. Master was very busy every day.

Master not only gave the lectures and taught the exercises, but he also dealt with issues from society and other dimensions. One day Master said, "I am not tired physically, but mentally." Some practitioners did not understand Master's difficulties and complained about the price of admission to the lecture. Master said, "Ten classes cost 50 yuan for new practitioners and 25 yuan for veteran practitioners. Is it expensive? I had planned to set the price at 40 yuan for the new and 20 for the veteran. But the Qigong Society did not agree. They even asked for a higher price than the current one. I disagreed, but I am not in charge of these things." Master also mentioned those people selling exercise videotapes. "Those people who sell exercise videotapes are following me from Shenzhen City. Wherever I go, they follow. In the beginning, they sold one videotape for 150 yuan. I asked them to sell it for 80 yuan." Master was always thoughtful of practitioners. He tried his best to cut down on expenses.

Master usually arrived at the lecture hall shortly before the classes. Most practitioners got there early. Some wanted to see Master. Some were eager to take pictures with Master. There were only two roads to the entrance. But no one ever met Master. We didn't know how Master got to the lecture hall. Usually when we saw Master, He was already near the entrance.

One time, some practitioners wanted to take pictures with Master before the evening class. A senior citizen with a crutch was sitting on the stairs and blocked the entrance. Master walked over to him and said, "Get up and walk around." This person with good enlightenment quality stood up without his crutch and began to walk. He walked better and better. Later, he walked up the stairs and got into the lecture hall without the crutch.

When practitioners wanted to take pictures with Master, Master always agreed and went here and there with practitioners. Master was always smiling and very kind. Some practitioners even grabbed Master's arm and pulled Him away. This was not respectful or polite to Master. But Master was still smiling and kind to everyone.

After the first lecture, Master planned to cleanse our bodies. Master asked practitioners to stand up and relax ourselves. He asked us to think about a single disease that each individual had. Master stood on the platform and said, "Relax! Relax!" and then suddenly waved his right hand and said, "Go away." Master then clapped his hands twice. It seemed that Master had gotten rid of something. When Master waved, I saw a light blue flash on Master's right hand. When I attended Master's night class, I saw the same flash as in the morning. I believed it was real. Later, I heard that someone else also saw the flash on Master's right hand.

I could feel the Falun rotating in my Dantian area on the second day of Master's lecture. I could feel it rotating both clockwise and counter-clockwise. Later, I felt the Falun all over my body. Falun even rotated on my fingers and toes. I believed more strongly in what Master said. Everything was real.

I always sat in the first row during Master's lecture because I tape recorded Master's lecture and needed to change the tapes. I saw that Master's left hand sometimes nipped something and flipped it away. Maybe Master was cleansing practitioners' bodies.

After the ten-day lecture was over, Master sincerely told us, "Dafa is difficult to obtain. I hope you will not lose it easily just because you have obtained it easily. Once you pass this village, this inn will no longer be available." At last, Master demonstrated the grand hand gestures. Before we were discharged, Master turned the great law wheel on the platform. Practitioners said to Master in their hearts, "Farewell, Master. Thanks."

After the ten-day lecture, practitioners went to practice sites to do the exercises. On the first two days, a practitioner saw that every practitioner's body was in the milk-white state.

Later countless amazing things happened to practitioners. This reminded me of Master's teaching in Zhuan Falun,

"I think that those who can listen to my lectures in person, I would say, honestly... you will realize in the future that this period of time is extremely precious."

Time is flying. Master has taught the Fa and rectified the Fa for over 14 years. Master created this Fa and described the following in his poem,

"Handling human affairs of every sort,
Burdened with all of heaven's troubles.
To whom can I turn to exchange a few words?
In higher places it is only colder."

Fa-rectification has come to the end stage. Our "thoughts have to be righteous, not human," which is a principle that Master often reminds us of.
