Coburger Tagesblatt Daily Paper (Germany): Meditation to combat crime in China (Photo)
Jl/il/Foto: Isabel Luther COBURG. The passers-by in the Spitalgasse saw yesterday an unusual picture -
close to a dozen members of the dangerously suppressed Falun Gong movement in
China sending righteous thoughts towards China. They wanted to call attention to
the fact that the People's Republic [of China] sells "human body organs for
profit," said the co-organiser Yuan Zhang. An independent investigation report by the Canadian David Kilgour and the
human rights lawyer David Matas supported the allegation of an unprecedented
number of people murdered for no other reason than organ harvesting, which are
then used for transplants in China. Those who wished to hear more about this
subject may come today between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to the town hall in the centre
of Coburg. Falun Gong is a meditation practice that helps people attain inner peace and
improved health. It is based on the fundamental principles Truthfulness,
Compassion and Tolerance. Falun Gong referred to itself as not being a religion.
