Taiwan: Keng Sheng Daily Reports on Organ Harvesting in China
(Clearwisdom.net) On October 13th and 14th
respectively, the Keng Sheng Daily published two articles on the Chinese
Communist regime's atrocities of organ harvesting and brutal torture of Falun
Gong practitioners. The Daily cited statements made by former Canadian Secretary
of State for Asia-Pacific David Kilgour and U.S. Pathologist Dr. Wenyi Wang. The
two recently exposed these atrocities to the Taiwan Mainland Affairs Council,
Department of Health, Ministry of Justice, Legislative Yuan and the press. At the beginning of last March, it was exposed that there are at least 36
concentration camps in China which are harvesting organs from living Falun Gong
practitioners for profit and cremating the remains to destroy evidence. Shortly
after, the "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in
China" was established. The coalition called on the communist regime to
open all facilities, including labor camps, prisons, detention centers and
hospitals, for an independent and thorough investigation. The coalition also
openly urged international organizations and governments to join this effort. In April, Dr. Wenyi Wang protested the persecution during President Bush's
welcoming ceremony for Chinese President Hu Jintao. The protest received wide
attention from worldwide media. On July 6, Mr. Kilgour and international human rights lawyer David Matas
released the "Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong
Practitioners in China". During his visit to Taiwan, Mr. Kilgour pointed out that their 2-month
independent investigation examined eighteen avenues of proof and disproof and
concluded that the organ harvesting claims are true and most organs being
transplanted are from Falun Gong practitioners. He said that he hopes that
governments around the world will pay attention to these inhumane atrocities and
take proper action. Mr. Kilgour said that the Chinese Communist regime denied
their entrance to China to investigate and still can not refute their report
three months after its publication. At the Legislative Yuan, Dr. Wenyi Wang told the legislators that the Chinese
Communist regime has employed more than 140 torture methods during the
persecution of Falun Gong. She said that she had heard about many brutal torture
cases. In one case, she said, a young girl was stripped naked, her limbs were
fixed, and she was subjected to all kinds of assaults. |
