UK: a Turkish Falun Gong Practitioner Exposes the CCP's Atrocities in London (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 20, 2006, the best-selling Turkish newspaper in the UK, AVRUPA, published an article entitled "A Turkish Falun Gong Practitioner Exposes the CCP's Atrocity in London."

The article stated that Falun Gong practitioners were collecting signatures on a petition protesting the persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP in front of the Chinese Embassy in London. The one standing in the very front was Ms. Cansin Goldring, a practitioner from Turkey. All the protesters held photos of practitioners who were persecuted to death in China. Ms Cansin Goldring was holding a photo as well. She came to London from the City of Mersin in Turkey. She sat cross-legged for several hours in front of the Chinese Embassy. We interviewed her.

Reporter: Why are you here?

Cansin: I am here protesting the CCP's torture, persecution, and slander of Falun Gong practitioners.

Reporter: It is said that the CCP regime labels Falun Gong as undesirable?

Cansin: This is a plot that the CCP uses in order to persecute Falun Gong. This is the rumor that CCP has made up in order to mislead the public. Falun Gong is a method of cultivation at a high level. It belongs to the Buddha School and is based on the principle of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. According to this principle, people can improve both their mind and body by doing the practice.

Reporter: Are there any people in Turkey practicing Falun Gong?

Cansin: In Mersin City, Turkey, we set up an association first. Those who believe in Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance quickly came to practice. The number of people who practice Falun Gong in the park near the seaside is growing day by day. Many people have improved not only their body but their mind as well. Their improvements show that Falun Gong is a righteous way of cultivation. Later on, we were also permitted to practice the exercises in all the parks in Ankara.

The Turkish newspaper article stated that Falun Dafa (also called Falun Gong) is an ancient way of cultivation improving both one's mind and body based on the principle of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. It was made public in 1992. Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Dafa, expounded all the principles in his book Zhuan Falun. The practice of Falun Gong is simple, powerful, and gentle.
