(Clearwisdom.net) On October 14, 2006, the First Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference in San Diego was held in the Price Center at the University of California-San Diego. 12 Practitioners shared their experiences in personal cultivation, validating the Fa, clarifying the truth and how to do the three things well.

The conference started at 1:00pm and ended at 5:30pm. The conference offered simultaneous Chinese and English translation.

12 Chinese and Western Falun Gong practitioners shared their cultivation experience.

George, who just obtained the Fa, has been a Christian priest for 25 years. He described how he had been waiting for the Fa in a comfortable environment. His son and daughter-in-law practice Falun Dafa and he saw the changes in them, so he learned about Falun Dafa and compared it with other beliefs. After obtaining several hints from Master Li, he finally decided to cultivate Falun Dafa. He said that he has obtained the Fa, and started the path to the consummation.

Mr. Hu, who is a volunteer at the Service Center for Quitting the Party in San Diego, shared his experience of promoting the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, convincing people to quit the party and clarifying the truth to the local government. He also shared his experience of getting rid of attachments, sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminating interference and validating Dafa to save more people. He said: "I think that the arrangement of the Fa-rectification is very organized. Master has arranged the best path of Fa-rectification cultivation for every disciple. Convincing people to quit the party is to save them. This requires righteous thoughts and righteous actions from every practitioner. The contact person should also put down the notion of validating oneself so that everybody can improve as a whole body."

A Western practitioner shared her experience of believing in Master and the Fa. Through stories of obtaining the Fa, eliminating sickness karma and eliminating the heart of hatred, she shared her understanding of the Fa and cultivation. She expressed her happiness to obtain the Fa and her appreciation of Master.

Mr. Lu, who just obtained his Ph.D. degree, shared his experience of validating the Fa and personal cultivation. Through several stories, he shared how to correctly handle the difficulties in daily work and cultivation with righteous thoughts, and to thereby improve oneself.

Two young practitioners recited Master's poems from Hongyin. The conference ended at 5:30pm.

Mr. Gao, an organizer of the conference, said: "There are many new practitioners in San Diego these years. Under Master's help, they improve themselves very fast, and step into Fa-rectification cultivation very fast. One important reason is that practitioners can break through all the difficulties and keep the group Fa-study and sharing consistently. There are six exercise sites and eight Fa-study groups in San Diego. Practitioners have a big group Fa-study every week. There are many small group Fa-studies too. This conference is the natural consequence of all the group sharing and Fa-studies."

Many practitioners expressed that they benefited from fellow practitioners' sharing a lot. They also felt that they need to do the three things well. They should not only cultivate themselves well, but also clarify the truth and save more sentient beings.
