Jixi City resident Ms. Liu Dan is on a hunger strike to protest the persecution in the Women's Prison of Heilongjiang Province.

Ms. Wang Wen, 41, is an employee of Unit One, Xinmu Oil Extraction Factory of Jilin Oil-field. At around 1:00 p.m. on September 11, 2006, she was illegally arrested by the police from the Political Security Unit of the Oil-Field Police Bureau and the Xinmu Oil Extraction Factory Police Dispatch Station. She is now detained at the Detention Center of Songyuan City.

Since the illegal arrest of practitioners during the period of August 3-18, 2006, Mr. Yu Zhanyuan and his daughter Ms. Yu Haihong have been released.

Husband and wife, Mr. Fu Shuangyin and Ms. Guan Huilian, have been sentenced to one year of forced labor.

On September 8, 2006, Mr. Duo Jingjiang, Ms. Wang Yanqiu, Ms. Qi Jingling and Ms. Niu Guixia were sentenced to one year of forced labor.

Husband and wife, Mr. Yang Chengshan and Ms. Du Xiuqing, are still illegally detained in the Detention Center of Achen City.

Ms. Sun Yanfang, a teacher at First Xinhua Middle School of Achen City was arrested on September 11, 2006. She is now detained at the First Detention Center of Achen City.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Teng Kemei of Wangqing Pharmaceutical Factory was arrested while distributing truth-clarification materials on the evening of September 11, 2006.

On March 25, 2004, the State Security Unit of Changlin County arrested Dafa practitioners Ms. Liu Guilan, Ms. Chen Xiurong, Ms. Wang Lina, Ms. Meng Qinghai and Ms. Zhao Shurong.

Changling County resident Ms. Liu Guilan was detained for 15 days and then released.

Chen Xiurong, 70, was sentenced to a three-year prison term, illegally fined over twenty thousand yuan, and detained for over four months and then released.

Wang Lina was sentenced to three and a half years and sent to Heizuizi Prison.

Meng Qinghai was sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp. However, the labor camp refused to accept him. His family has also been illegally fined almost twenty thousand yuan. He was detained for three months before being released for medical treatment.

Zhou Shurong was illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor. She had six thousand yuan extorted from her and was released on bail for medical treatment.

On April 26, 2004, Ms. Zhang Yanhua was arrested and taken to Changling Detention Center. She was released after the police extorted over ten thousand yuan from her.

On July 8, 2004, Mr. Song Baohua of Jubao Town was illegally arrested and sent to Changling Detention Center. He was illegally fined nearly ten thousand yuan and sentenced to one year in a labor camp at the Heizuizi Labour Camp of Changchun City.

On March 29, 2005, Sanqingshan county resident Ms. Ge Yijun's home was ransacked by the State Security Unit. She was arrested and sent to Changling Detention Center and then transferred to the Heizuizi Labor Camp.

Mr. Cong Wei and Mr. Zhang Guoyu were arrested at their work place on September 12, 2006. They are now illegally detained at Ganjingzishufang Police Disptach Station.

On August 21, 2006, Bajiazi Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhen Muzhi and her husband were arrested by the Head of the State Security Unit of Bajiazi Police Bureau, Zhu Jicheng. Ms. Zhen is now illegally detained at the Detention Center of Helong City and under severe persecution.

On the afternoon of September 10, 2006, Mr. Meng Xianzhi, employee of the Middle School of Shuangyashan Farm of Heilongjiang Province, was arrested and sent to the Detention Station of Hongxinglong Bureau.

At the end of July 2006, Ms. Zhang Ming was illegally arrested and sent to a brainwashing center. She was then transferred to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp.

Ms. Duo Yumin of Babaixiang, Daqing City is 30 years old. The Deputy Director of the 610 Office, Zu Shuwu, tried to coerce her to write the so-called five statements to renounce Falun Dafa. However, Ms. Duo refused. Her work unit then colluded with Babaixiang Police Sub-Bureau of Honggang district, Daqing City and arrested Ms. Duo on the morning of August 24.

Mr. Jing Suo was kicked and beaten by prison guard Cui Ge of the Number One Prison Section because he refused to give up practicing Falun Gong. When Mr. Jing was on a hunger strike to protest the persecution, guard Cui Ge ordered for more salt to be added in the food used to force-feed Mr. Jing. He also ordered other inmates to deprive Jing Suo of sleep and poke his eyes with their fingers.

At around 8:00 p.m. on August 31, 2006, practitioners Ms. Cao Qingmei, Ms. Wei Chunlan and Mr. Meng Xiangchun went to distribute truth-clarification materials at Jingshuikou, but were arrested on their way there.

The following day, they were sent to the Laishui Detention Center. Ms. Cao went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. She was sent home after the police extorted 450 yuan from her. In the afternoon, Wei Chunlan and Meng Xiangchun were transferred to the Baoding Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Wei was "registered" for one and a half years in the labor camp. A physical check-up showed that she had hypotension and a heart disease. The labor camp then refused to accept her. She is now detained at the detention center. On September 9, 2006, Ms. Wei's husband and daughter went to the detention center demanding to see her. They were illegally charged 400 yuan in order for them to meet with Ms. Wei.

Recently, the 610 Offices of Jiyuan City and Mengzhou City of Henan Province carried out mass arrests of Dafa practitioners and ransacking of their homes. It is now known that two practitioners from Mengzhou City have been arrested.

On September 10, 2006, the police from the Nanhao Town Police Dispatch Station of Changle County, Shandong Province went to Xiajiawa Village of Nanhao Town. They arrested Ms. Zhao Guilan and ransacked her home. They confiscated truth-clarification materials and an MP3 player.

At 9:00 p.m. on September 11, 2006, Mr. Li Gang and a fellow practitioner were arrested by traffic police at the border of Liulihe County and Xianpo County, Tunzhou City. They are now illegally detained at the State Security Section of the Tunzhou Police Bureau.

On the night of September 7, 2006, Ms. Wang Zheng was arrested from her residence by the district police and policemen from West Town. They confiscated her printer and a computer that belonged to her brother who is not a practitioner. Ms. Wang has been sent to the Chang Ping Labor Camp.

On the morning of September 13, 2006, the Haidian District Court of Beijing City illegally tried and sentenced Liu Zhengdong to three years of imprisonment. They also barred Liu Zhengdong's family from entering the court.

Mr. Cheng Yongcai is in his forties and lives in Jiyuan City, Henan Province. He was forcibly taken from his home on July 17, 2006. He is now detained in the detention center of Wen county. The detention center refused to release Mr. Cheng and has forbidden his family to visit him.

On September 12, 2006, the police from the 610 Office, the Police Bureau and county police dispatch station broke into a private residence and arrested Ms. Zhang Shulian, Ms. Dai Xiuyin and Mr. Chen Shujun. The practitioners are now illegally detained at the Guan County Detention Center.

At around 8:00 p.m. on September 3, 2006, Ms. Pan Guilan and Ms. Li Yuzheng, residents of the Economic Development District of Laixi City of Qingdao, were arrested by patrolling policemen from the Binhe Road Police Dispatch Station while hanging Dafa banners outside the village. They are now detained at the Laixi City Detention Station.

On September 5, 2006, the State Security Unit of Zhaoyuan City colluded with Ding Jiguo of Daqingjia Town Government to illegally arrest Ms. Wen Shue and confiscate her tape recorder, DVD player and Falun Dafa books. On the same day they also arrested Ms. Chen Xiangmei of Daqingjia Town.

On September 10, 2006 at around noontime, a man in his fifties posted a "Falun Dafa is good" sign on the wall near Yamao Square of Wuchang District, Wuhan City. Before he could finish posting the sign, a group of police rushed over and viscously beat him, causing his face to swell.

Around September 7, 2006, the State Security Unit of Wanyuan City announced the illegal sentencing of Dafa practitioners Ms. Luo Xunqing, Ms. Xiang Wenyin and Ms. Xiao Guobi. Both Luo and Xiang were sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp, while Xiao Guobi was sentenced to one year and three months of forced labor. All three practitioners have to carry out their sentencing outside the detention center.

Ms. Wang Fengmei is from Beihai Dijiao of Guangxi Province. One morning in early October 1999, while Ms. Wang was doing the Falun Gong exercises at Beibuwan Square, she was taken to the police bureau for interrogation and illegally detained for one day.

On July 11, 2000, Ms. Wang was forced into a police car and taken to the Pinyang Detention Station where she was illegally detained for 15 days.

On the evening of January 18, 2001, four policemen from the Dijiao Police Dispatch Station waited for Ms. Wang at her home, and then arrested her and detained her at the Pinyang Detention Station for 15 days.

On the evening of October 24, 2002, Ms. Wang was arrested for the third time at her work place and was forced to attend brainwashing sessions for 20 days. Meanwhile, her home was broken into and ransacked.

Ms. Liu Ying, 39, used to work for Jinzhou Farm Vehicle Factory. In 2001, she was sentenced on false charges to three years in prison and sent to Qiaokou Prison of Wuhan City.

On March 14, 2006, Ms. Liu's home was ransacked; her computer and other belongings worth nearly twenty thousand yuan were confiscated. On September 4, 2006, Liu Ying was illegally arrested and is now detained at the Gongan County Detention Station.

Dafa practitioner Mr. Cai Wei, 52, is a doctor at the Tongbai County Public Hospital. On the morning of September 12, 2006, Mr. Cai was arrested by the Tongbai County 610 Office and State Security Unit; and his home was ransacked. His whereabouts are unknown.

Shenzhen resident Mr. Chen Dengwu was arrested in February of 2005. The Baoan District Court of Shenzhen City illegally tried and sentenced him to one year and seven months in prison.

Mr. Chen was released on February 8, 2006. On May 1, 2006, he suddenly disappeared. After receiving two letters from the Baoan Detention Station, Mr. Chen's family learned that he was arrested on the afternoon of May 1 while at work.

On the evening of June 12, 2006 one of the Dafa materials production centers in Pindingshan City of Henan Province was destroyed by the Weidong District Police Sub-bureau. Dafa practitioners Ms. Yan Xiuyin, Ms. Nie Ya, and Mr. Han Dongshun were illegally detained. Currently, they are facing an impending illegal sentencing.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Yun, her husband Mr. Chen Yinjun and her sister Ms. Liu Li of Chengdu City, Sichuan Province are being persecuted. Liu Li was forcibly taken to the Xinjin Brainwashing Camp in 2005. Mr. Chen was arrested on April 25, 2006 and tortured in the Xinjin Brainwashing Camp.
