Mr. Zheng Rongchang from Hebei Province Forced into Xiaobailou Brainwashing Center


(Clearwisdom.net) Early in the morning on August 11, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zheng Rongchang from Baoding City, Hebei Province was forced from his home and taken to the Xiaobailou brainwashing center, organized by the 610 Office.

At around 5:45 a.m., Mr. Zheng Rongchang was about to feed the rabbits they raised. Suddenly, a gang of plain-clothes police stormed in, did not show any ID, violently forced him into their vehicle, dropped his shoes, broke his belt, and took him to Chengguan Town Police Station. They didn't even let him put a shirt on.

Mr. Sheng Rongchang requested his shoes and belt, but no one cared. Police then took him to the Xiaobailou brainwashing center in Baoding City, without any legal procedures.

Mr. Zheng lost his personal freedom, is forced to go through brainwashing sessions under the guards' close monitoring. He is followed no matter if he is eating, sleeping, and even using the toilet. As soon as he wants to do the exercises, someone will stop him immediately. He is forced to watch videos that slander Falun Gong, or listen to fabricated nonsense in order to force him to write the "four statements". The guards threatened his family members that if he refused to accept the brainwashing within 15 days, he had to pay all the costs, and would be sent to a labor camp.

One afternoon, the Li County 610 Office Head Xu Yonggang (male) came to Xiaobailou, and said to Mr. Zheng Rongchang, "You were raised by the CCP, and you are against the CCP. You must be mentally ill, and I want to lock you up in the mental hospital."

Mr. Zheng Rongchang's wife sufferers from mental illness, and cannot do farm labor or house chores. With Mr. Zheng Rongchang locked up in the brainwashing center, the fields are untended, the crop of cotton is neglected, and the rabbits are left with no one to feed them. Their daughter had to quit her newly-found job to take care of the family. Their family has suffered a huge financial loss.
