In the city of Cham, they were open as usual for the many people attending the Sunday celebration. Very early in the morning, local Falun Gong practitioners carried exhibition boards and truth-clarifying materials to the Center Square in Cham. The person in charge of the celebration knows them well, because it is the third year that Dafa practitioners have participated in the Kirta Festival. Every year, free of charge, the festival organizer sets aside a booth in a good location for Falun Gong practitioners, so that people can get to know the facts of the persecution going on in China

Every signature on the petition is a blow to the CCP

As soon as a full-length color picture of Falun Gong practitioners in China doing the exercises together in the form of the Falun emblem was displayed, the gentleman in charge of the festival stopped to look. Even though he already knew a lot about Falun Gong, he was still drawn by the marvelous photo. After a while, he asked a practitioner, "Where are they doing the exercises?" The practitioner answered, "They are doing the exercises in a city in the southern part of China. This was before the CCP started persecuting Falun Gong," he added. The gentleman nodded and seemed lost in thought. In order to express their gratitude to him for his consistent support of Falun Gong, the practitioner gave him a paper lotus flower as a souvenir. When she saw that Falun Gong practitioners were being persecuted in China in such a cruel way, the hostess at another booth was very sad. She brought over her poetry anthology and her business card. She also asked for a business card from a practitioner and said, "If I have an opportunity to distribute truth-clarifying materials for you, I will contact you."

The day brightened, and the whole square was filled with sunshine that drove away the morning chill. People started to feel warm. Although Little Yuqing is less than three years old, she got up very early and came to Cham with her mother. In the warm sunshine, she sat on a stool and then fell asleep against an exhibition board. When she saw this, Yuqing's mother, who was busy distributing materials, carefully put her daughter in a baby carriage so that she could sleep comfortably. In order to let the world's people know the truth about Falun Gong, many practitioners overseas, including those who have to take their children with them and women who are pregnant, give up their holidays to call upon kind people to give their support and end the persecution.

Little Yuqing woke up after her nap. A young man selling ice cream at a nearby stall gave her an ice cream. He also signed the petition protesting the CCP harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. It seemed that he was rewarded for his good intentions: Many people, one after another, bought ice cream from him for more than half the day.

Practitioners’ untiring efforts have made more and more people want to know about Falun Gong in depth. Some have even expressed a wish to cultivate Falun Gong and have taken a stand against the persecution. Two weeks after he started to practice Falun Gong, Andi, in high spirits, participated in a Falun Gong outdoor photo exhibition and actively collected signatures for the petition against the persecution. He was even more confident when he took part in clarifying the truth during the Kirta Festival. Dr. Kiehal just started to practice Falun Gong a week ago. While talking with practitioners, he felt the seriousness of the persecution. Practitioners invited Dr. Kiehal to come visit the exhibition booth during the Kirta Festival. He came for the entire day to collect signatures for the petition protesting removing organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Afterwards, he studied the Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China by David Matas and David Kilgour. He wrote an article for a newspaper, encouraging everyone to pay attention to the inside story of the CCP trade in human organs and to take action to stop this crime.

When they saw practitioners distributing materials, many festival visitors came up to receive them. Other people remembered watching a discussion on TV in which practitioner Ms. Teng told how the CCP has been persecuting Falun Gong practitioners for seven years. They wanted to know more about the persecution of Falun Gong, including the CCP organ harvesting atrocity.
