Practitioner Ms. Li Qinglian, female, 63, lived in the Xiawuqi/Tianxinzhuang Village, Wuqing District of Tianjin City. On October 18, 2000, Ms. Li Qinglian went to Tiananmen Square in Beijing to validate the Fa. She was arrested and taken to a police station where she was first monitored and later transferred to a detention center. She was held there for half a month. In December 2000 and on January 15, 2001, she went to Beijing again to validate the Fa, but she was found and arrested. She was taken to and held in a detention center. After she was released home from the detention center, Li Sen (male) and Liu Wang (male) were sent by the Township Official to her home to harass her, and attempted to force her to write a Guarantee Statement to give up the practice of Falun Dafa.

On March 3, 2001, the CCP Central Government was having a meeting in Beijing City. Ms. Li Qinglian was taken to a brainwashing center in the local township where she was monitored continuously for five days. On March 8, 2001, she was taken to the plum factory brainwashing center. Police applied all types of means to physically torture her.

Since Ms. Li Qinglian refused to give up the practice of Falun Dafa, she was taken to a detention center on April 15, 2001. On May 21, 2001, she was taken to the Banqiao Forced Labor Camp. On June 1, 2001, she was taken to the Jianxin Forced Labor Camp, where the evil beings tried all types of brutal torture methods, such as beating, cursing, strenuous physical labor, as well as other types of corporal punishment.

By March 2003, due to the evil persecution, Ms. Li Qinglian suffered from hypertension, and on March 18, 2003, she had a stroke. The authorities had to take her to the hospital for emergency rescue. When they had no other choice, they finally let her family members take her home. Ms. Li has become handicapped due to the severe torture and can no longer take care of herself. Despite this, the forced labor camp still sent people to "have conversations" with her. The local town government and the village CCP cadres still constantly monitor her secretly. Ms. Li Qinglian still refuses to cooperate with them.
