Programs about Falun Gong and the Nine Commentaries Appear on Yangzhou Cable TV Throughout the Night


(Clearwisdom.net) On the night of September 23, 2006, regular Yangzhou Cable TV programming was interrupted by a program about Falun Gong and the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. The program repeated all night long. On the program, Mr. Li Xiangchun, an American Falun Gong practitioner from Yangzhou, called upon his hometown compatriots to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for safety.

According to the Sound of Hope Radio news, on September 25, an SOH journalist interviewed an official of Yangzhou Gaoyou Police Department, who confirmed that the Yangzhou Cable TV channel had been tapped into with programs about Falun Gong and the Nine Commentaries.

The interviewed official said, "I was sleeping while it happened. The next day I heard the policeman on duty say that Yangzhou TV programming had been tapped into by Falun Gong."

When interviewed by a journalist, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Xiangchun, originally from Yangzhou, expressed his gratification at this occurrence, because Falun Gong practitioners in China had finally made his wish come true.

Mr. Li Xiangchun said, "On September 23, news about the persecution of Falun Gong and the content of the Nine Commentaries was broadcast on Yangzhou Cable TV. When I heard this news, I was very happy, because Falun Gong practitioners in China had finally succeeded in broadcasting this program. My long-cherished wish was realized at last. I felt very happy.

Mr. Li Xiangchun hoped that his fellow countrymen would quit the CCP and its relevant organizations and not ignore the compassion of Falun Gong practitioners. He said, "The Chinese Communist Party is a truly evil cult. The damage it has brought to the Chinese nation is beyond words. Only when the Chinese people truly disintegrate the evil Communist Party will our nation have a good future. "

Mr. Li Xiangchun called for all the Chinese people to quit the CCP as soon as possible. He hoped that people would quit before "God destroys the CCP. In this way, we saved ourselves first, then our nation."

Three years ago, American Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Xiangchun once tried to tell the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong by tapping into Yangzhou Cable TV, but failed. He was illegally imprisoned for three years. Now he is back in the US.
