By a Falun Dafa practitioner from Shandong Province

Recently, I read on the Clearwisdom website that some diligent practitioners suddenly lost their lives due to sickness karma. Afterwards, I felt distressed and I also realized the seriousness of cultivation. I'm writing down my experiences to share with my fellow practitioners as a reference.

In July 2002 I was able to walk out of a forced labor camp with Teacher’s compassionate protection. The police did not reach their objective of putting me through three years of forced labor. They were indignant. After I was released, they monitored me continuously; they threatened and intimidated me to try to "transform" me. Since I did not cooperate with them, in July 2002 I was again arrested and taken to a local brainwashing center. In a week I developed severe sickness karma: my heart beat rapidly, I lost control of my bladder and bowels, and I was half-conscious. The staff of the 610 Office hurried to figure out a solution. In a daze I heard them saying, "Don’t send her to the hospital for treatment. Let her die here." They did not send me for treatment, nor did they inform my family or let them visit me.

While I was unconscious I felt as if I was riding a demon that was rapidly circling around a traffic circle. When I went around for the third time, I became conscious and suddenly remembered that I was a Dafa disciple. How could I ride a demon? With all my strength, I pulled it out from my legs and threw it far away. I had a strong wish in my heart: I could not stay where I was—I wanted to go home. Once the thought emerged, a great Buddha displayed in front of me. The Buddha was golden and shiny, sitting on a lotus flower throne ten stories high. It was golden and shiny, very sacred, pure, and dignified. He solemnly said to me, "Your mission has been accomplished, and it’s time to return to your origin." After he said this, the grand door to the heavens opened. I saw the first layer open, followed by the second layer, the third layer, etc., until the twentieth layer opened. Each layer was more beautiful and sacred than the ones before it. I was very, very small below the throne of the lotus flower.

Although I did not see Master, I had a firm conviction: the Fa-rectification is not over; I cannot leave. I immediately replied to the Buddha image in all seriousness, "I am a Dafa disciple during Fa-rectification, and I have my Teacher. It is not up to you. My mission is not accomplished yet, and I will return with my Teacher on the day when the Fa rectifies the human world."

After I had this righteous thought, just as Teacher mentioned in Zhuan Falun, "Swoosh!"—everything vanished. After I came to, all of my symptoms disappeared. I opened my eyes and saw Teacher’s Law Body sitting in a chair (just like in the picture of Teacher’s Fa lecture in Sydney). Teacher was smiling at me. His was so happy that his laughter still remains fresh in my memory. I could not stop a flood of tears. I went down to my knees and I was unspeakably grateful to Teacher. Teacher, you gave me life once again! My heart was filled with Teacher's laughter and my life was elevated qualitatively. I had a better understanding of the fact that a single thought can show whether one is a divine being or a human being. The difference between life and death depends on one thought.

After getting a new lease on life from Dafa , whenever I read the sixth lecture of Zhuan Falun, I get very emotional. Teacher said,

I think at critical moments in similar circumstances, many fellow practitioners have not controlled themselves and have lost their lives to the old forces. Fellow practitioners! Let’s remember what Teacher said in Zhuan Falun, Lecture 6, in the sections entitled "Your main consciousness should predominate" and "Your mind must be right." We should solidly study the Fa well and never leave any loophole for the evil old forces to exploit. We should strictly walk the final path according to the requirements of Dafa.
