We Should Maintain Righteous Thoughts When Fellow Practitioners Are Persecuted

(Clearwisdom.net) A few days ago, a practitioner visited me at my home. While we were chatting, she mentioned that a particular practitioner was saying things not in accordance with the Fa. I felt sad because the practitioner we were discussing had been arrested two days prior. At that time I also thought that perhaps her arrest was due to her own shortcomings. It seemed like because she had left a loophole, she was then persecuted. I seemed to have agreed unknowingly that the evil could take advantage of a practitioner's loophole. I used to think that even if a practitioner had gaps, we would never allow the evil to persecute him or her. While I was meditating that day, I realized that these two thoughts were in conflict.

Early this year, a practitioner who had been put in jail walked out from the den of evil with a dignified and imposing spirit. Superficially, I and some other local practitioners were happy for him, but our human sides had actually been thinking that the evil would never really release him. Moreover, we did not take the initiative to help him break loose from the evil.

As a result, he was secretly arrested again by the police a couple of months after his release. Even today, I feel very guilty that in our thoughts we supported the crimes committed by the evil and that our hearts permitted this persecution to happen.

Does this unrighteous thought imperceptibly acknowledge practitioners' loopholes being an excuse for the evil to persecute them? This kind of thought unknowingly intensifies the suffering of practitioners. The remnants of the old forces would think: "Look! Your fellow practitioners believe that because you left a gap, we had a right to test you. Thus your persecution became unavoidable."

I realized that we should never allow these unrighteous thoughts, which were in accordance with the old forces, to exist. Our Master asked us to totally negate everything of the old forces. We should not acknowledge anything which our Master did not require. We came here to assimilate with the Fa and to assist our Master in spreading the Fa in the human world. We did not come here to be persecuted. To save the sentient beings is Dafa disciples' sacred mission. We should not let any interference exist.

It is very important that we recognize and eliminate those unrighteous concepts hiding in our thoughts. We should support our fellow practitioners. Even if they have not cultivated themselves well or go astray, we should always keep our thoughts righteous for them. If we do not hold righteous thoughts towards them, we might push them to the opposite side. As Dafa practitioners, we should keep our thoughts and actions righteous at all times and never leave any loopholes for the evil to take advantage of, and we should walk well on the last portion of the path.
