Practitioners Spared in Flood in Yitong County, Jilin Province

(Clearwisdom.net) On August 12, Yitong County in Jilin Province experienced a flood the enormity of which had not been seen in a hundred years. From around 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on August 12, it poured rain. Many houses in the county collapsed, and more were flooded. My neighbors to the north and west are Falun Dafa practitioners, and those to my south and east have a good understanding of Dafa. Their houses were spared while the rest of my neighbors' houses were flooded.

The flooding was so severe that the supply of drinking water and electricity was cut off on August 13. My family used water we had on reserve until August 18. During that time, we also gave water to neighbors who did not have any. When our water was used up on the 18th, I was planning to get water from elsewhere when the water supply to my house resumed. Even though the water supply company gave us a notice saying the supplied water was not drinkable because of pollution, the water supplied to my house was even clearer than it had been before the flood. Nevertheless, my neighbors still did not have a water supply, or if they did, it was yellow. Although what we drank was "non-drinkable water" as claimed by the water supply company, none of my family had any harmful reactions. Even my 88-year-old mother did not have a harmful reaction.

My whole family knew this was because we practiced Falun Gong and Master protected us. With one person practicing Falun Gong, the whole family benefits!

In addition, there was flooding to the east of Yitong County, where the police station to the west, the public security bureau, and the court were the most severely flooded, with the water being as high as a person's waist in the worst cases. At the police station in the east, the police vehicles were submerged in water up to their roofs. The officers on duty were evacuated by crane after they ran to the second floor.

Since the persecution began on July 20, 1999, six people in Yitong County have been illegally sentenced to prison. The eldest among them was 73 years old. In just one county, there were more than 100 people sentenced to forced labor camps, more than 200 people detained in detention centers, more than one million people fined, three people who died as the result of direct persecution, and more than 10 people who died indirectly as the result of the persecution.

Some people might think that the flooding happened by accident. In fact, it was a warning that evil deeds bring karmic retribution.
