Fear is Behind the Mentality of Taking the Easy Way Out

(Clearwisdom.net) As the Fa-rectification is progressing, we feel that we have gotten rid of more and more of our attachments and have fewer human notions remaining. However, through a recent experience, I realized that some of my attachments are still quite strong, such as the attachment to taking the easy way out.

Some time ago, I accepted responsibility for putting up fliers exposing the evil, though I was hesitant in the beginning because I did not have much experience in this kind of work. However, as a practitioner, it is my obligation to help persecuted practitioners and to try to end the persecution. Later, the printing site was running out of supplies, so regular printing paper was used in place of paper with sticky material already applied. The fliers printed on regular paper need glue to be posted, which makes the work of posting the materials more difficult. Thus, I said to the fellow practitioner who delivered the materials, "I am not used to this kind of materials."

After coming home, I felt that I was wrong. It is quick and safe to save drowning people with a motorboat, but if I don't have a motor boat anymore, should I stop saving them? What a selfish heart I have! Teacher has not given up on those practitioners who have poor enlightenment quality or even those who went to the opposite side of the Fa; how can I be picky with the type of truth-clarification materials used at the crucial moment of saving persecuted practitioners?

I went to the delivery practitioner's place to pick up the materials after I came to that understanding. Later when I was posting the materials, I realized that my deeply hidden heart of fear was diminished to a great degree after overcoming this internal struggle.

There are bound to be tribulations on the path of cultivation. Every tribulation is a test for the practitioners. In order to deserve the highly honored title of Dafa practitioners in the Fa-rectification period, we should cultivate ourselves diligently in the Fa and do the three things well, so that when the Fa rectifies the world, we will be able to follow Teacher back home in Consummation with no regrets.
