San Diego, U.S.: Practitioners Participate in Bonita's Annual Celebration (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On September 28, the city of Bonita, located south of San Diego, held its largest annual celebration, and Falun Gong practitioners were again invited to participate in the parade. They are also the only group whose participants are mainly Chinese.

The Falun Gong procession consisted of banners, a waist drum group, a float and a celestial maiden troupe

The celebration is an important local event. With 127 participating groups from the San Diego metro and Riverside area, the celebration attracted about 65,000 visitors.

The practitioners’ procession was composed of banners, a waist drum group, a float and a celestial maiden troupe, which brought the beauty and serenity of Falun Dafa to the spectators who packed both sides of the parade route. Wherever they marched, the practitioners were greeted with warm applause and cheers. Some spectators took off their hats to salute the practitioners and some raised their thumbs. A few children pressed their hands in front of their chests and shouted: "Falun Dafa!" Several Chinese spectators were shocked by the spectacular performance of the practitioners

The parade was broadcast live by local Cox TV station and by Channel 23 from 6:30 to 8pm on the evening of October 1.

Several practitioners distributed fliers about the practice and the persecution to every spectator who was eager to learn about Falun Dafa

The parade organizer said: The Falun Gong procession was beautiful. We hope that you will come back next year."
