By a Dafa practitioner in China

In a Beijing suburb, there is an old man who rides a motorcycle to clarify the truth. His name is Zhang Sheng (alias) and he is 70 years old. Just to look at him, most people think he is only 50 years old. There are no age-spots on him, and his skin glows with a rosy complexion. Although he sleeps very little--only a few hours every day--his step is light. He is always full of energy and is never tired.

However, he was not always like this. He used to have all kinds of illnesses, and the medicine he took never left his side. His nickname was "Medicine Basket." All day he was absent minded and walked very gingerly. He did not dare to ride a bicycle, not to mention a motorcycle. He had many kinds of diseases, which burdened his family and his company. In 1988, the company had to ask him to leave his position early and retire. He was only 53 years old at that time. These ailments made him want to die. Many times he wanted to commit suicide to free himself from this suffering.

Just as he was about to lose the courage to live, he came across Falun Dafa. The volunteer instructor saw that he was so seriously ill that it was difficult for him to learn the movements, and it was still very dangerous if he did not practice well, so he sincerely said to him: "We do not accept people with serious health problems." However, Mr. Zhang was not discouraged nor did he give up. He only had one firm belief: "I must practice Falun Gong."

From then on, regardless of the severe cold in winter or the heat in summer, heavy snow or violent storms, he always arrived at the practice spot early to wait. Because he did not want to bother others, he separated himself from other practitioners. He followed what they did. He also followed those who promoted Dafa. In May 1996, he was lucky to attend a nine-day Falun Dafa class held in his area. At this time, he became a Dafa practitioner.

After a period of cultivation, a miracle occurred. He did not take any more medicine or see any more doctors. All diseases he had had simply disappeared. He personally experienced the wonderfulness of Dafa, the happy feeling of living without any diseases, and a lightened body. After that, whenever he met anyone, he said: "It is Falun Dafa that gave me a second life."A Big Falun Appears When He Is Arrested

On July 20, 1999, when the persecution of Falun Dafa began and lies that blotted out the sky and covered up the earth caused hysteria and inhuman persecution, Mr. Zhang believed in his heart: "Our Teacher did nothing wrong. There is nothing wrong with Falun Dafa; You cannot treat our Teacher like this and cannot treat Falun Dafa like this. I want to use my personal experience to tell the leaders the situation, to clarify what is right and wrong, restore Teacher's reputation and restore Falun Dafa's reputation."

Even though he was over 60, he felt duty-bound to go to Beijing to appeal. He went to Beijing numerous times and he was repatriated every time. In this process, he saw with his own eyes the Chinese Communist Party's atrocious policies in operation. He saw with his own eyes the police abusing and beating Falun Gong practitioners at Tiananmen Square in public. He saw with his own eyes the National Appeal Bureau unexpectedly become the "Arresting Bureau," a place to entrap and arrest practitioners. He realized that only a shameless political party and government would treat people like this. However, he clearly knew that Teacher had come to save human beings, that Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa, and what Teacher says is real. This was not only because his improved health, but also because he had enormously upgraded his character after he cultivated Dafa.

In cultivation, Mr. Zhang cultivates in a closed state, but he saw Teacher manifesting divine powers. The most unforgettable event was when he and many other practitioners saw a huge Falun. It happened after the police brought him to Xiannongtan Stadium from Fuyou Street (the location of the National Appeal Bureau). At that time, many practitioners were being held there. Suddenly he heard a practitioner shouting: "See, it is a big Falun!" Practitioners as well as the police all looked up spontaneously and saw a huge Falun covering the whole stadium. Everyone was stunned. Immediately, practitioners' applause and cheers resounded through into skies. The police were dumbfounded. The Falun appeared in sky over the stadium for a long time. Mr. Zhang, along with the other practitioners, understood that this was our great Teacher displaying Dafa's reality and divine powers for the common people who did not understand the truth. The scene at that time and Dafa practitioners' elation were beyond words.

The persecution escalated. Every time he was repatriated after he went to Beijing, even in the terror of being imprisoned, Mr. Zhang did not flinch. He used his actions to diligently carry out his grand vows made before history. He trusted Teacher and the Fa. He followed whatever our kind Teacher said. While he persisted in practicing and sending forth righteous thoughts every day, not only did he walk into the boundlessly huge crowd in the city to promote Dafa, clarify the truth and extensively pass out the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, but he especially went to villages where there were few practitioners to do these things.

Because the transportation was inconvenient, he did not give a thought to being almost 70 years old and learned to ride a motorcycle. In the last seven years, he has ridden the motorcycle to go into villages in his area day and night. He has used his own experiences to tirelessly clarify the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong. He exposed the fabricated Tiananmen self-immolation, widely disseminated the Nine Commentaries, told people that 80 million people have lost their lives as a result of the CCP's butchery and the "June 4th massacre" in 1989, which killed several thousand students. In the last 80 years, the Party has only spoken lies and has never done good deeds. Its policies of violence, kidnapping, corruption, lies, taking by force and deceit, and disregard for human life have not only destroyed the Chinese people's traditional morality, but has also established the evil Party culture in China. The CCP's sins violate human beings and gods. Its sins are too numerous to mention, so it must be destroyed by heaven. Therefore, Mr Zhang sincerely advises people that have participated in the Party or any of its organizations to quit these organizations in order to avoid being implicated when the Party is destroyed by heaven. This is the only way to be saved.

After the Party's removal of organs from living Falun Gong was exposed, Mr. Zhang felt the pressure of promoting the Fa, clarifying the truth, and passing out the Nine Commentaries. He had sped up the strength of his clarifying the truth, and he sincerely requests that kind-hearted people in the international society help to pressure the Chinese Communist Party in order to end the persecution as soon as possible. In the meantime, he is making every effort to spread the truth of the persecution as well as Dafa's glory to all villages. He wants everyone in his area to understand the truth, obtain salvation, and have a better future.
