Studying "Thoroughly Dissolve the Evil" and Sharing My Understanding

(Clearwisdom.net) Many Falun Dafa truth-clarification materials production sites have been destroyed since October 15, 2006, and dozens of practitioners arrested. Judging from the time and the scale of the destruction, we can see that the evil had long planned everything. We should use our righteous thoughts to dissolve all of the dark minions, rotten demons and the old forces, and rescue the practitioners who have been arrested. At the same time, the fact that this persecution has taken place shows that we are all partly to blame as well. The following are areas where we have not done well enough. I would like to share my understanding of this with others.

In the last few years, practitioners in Yantai City have widely clarified the truth to people and exposed the evil, and have offered a great number of people salvation. Consequently, the local people's attitude toward Dafa has changed for the better and the environment is constantly improving. We often heard fellow practitioners said we were doing well in this area, and most people in society know what Falun Gong is. When we occasionally came across practitioners from other areas, they also said that practitioners in Yantai were doing well and that the environment is good. This might look so on the surface. Gradually, many practitioners unwittingly placed their hopes in the good environment. Cultivation, however, is a serious matter and any human mentality is dangerous. One person thinks this way; two people think this way, and when many people think this way, there are bound to be loopholes affecting the whole body.

We should not place our hopes in any good or bad environment. Regardless of whether the external environment turns good or bad, we should always act according to the standard of the Fa and not let anything interfere with us. By having your mind unaffected you will be able to handle every situation.

Studying Master's most recent article, "Thoroughly Dissolve the Evil," I suddenly realized that I had a poor understanding of the situation and failed to keep up with Master's Fa-rectification progress.

For quite some time now, when I send forth righteous thoughts, I often feel that I have arrived at places where Dafa practitioners are detained, such as labor camps, and I send forth righteous thoughts above them in the air or at nearby places. It did not occur to me afterwards why I had gone to those places to send forth righteous thoughts. My human side did not understand, and I had not thought about it deeply. Only after the large-scale persecution of Dafa practitioners happened in our local region, and after I had read Master's new article did I realize my gap and I felt extremely regretful. Due to the very fact that we overlooked the dark dens of the evil forces where Dafa practitioners are detained, such as labor camps, prisons, detention centers, the evil 610 Office, brainwashing classes, local police stations and others, and because we did not actively clear out the dark minions, rotten demons and the old forces in these places, they have connived and instigated and incited the vicious people to persecute Dafa practitioners and people. This happened because we did not do well!

Master reminded us a long time ago,

"Only after the Fa is explicitly stated do you make a move. If it is not taught clearly, you do not move, or move backward. I cannot recognize such behavior as cultivation practice." ("Digging out the Roots" in Essentials for Further Advancement)

Dafa disciples have always taken the lead position in the endeavor against the persecution. We should take the initiative to bring the persecution to a complete end instead of being passive and inactive; even less should we wait until we run into problems, and only then pay attention to them. Each of our Dafa disciples is part of it. We should all use our righteous thoughts to actively participate in various ways. This is the responsibility of Fa-rectification Dafa disciples. If we ignore it or fail to do so, it means we have loopholes in our xinxing!
