Life in Danger in Panjin Prison: Mr. Tian Genghai from Dalian City, Liaoning Province


(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Tian Genghai from Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is now detained in the Sixth Section, First Ward, of Panjin City Prison in Liaoning Province. He refuses to participate in forced labor or to attend brainwashing sessions. He has been continually clarifying the truth, stops guards from beating practitioners, and shouts, "Falun Dafa is good."

Mr. Tian was tortured from 7:00 p.m., on August 18, 2006, to noon on August 21, 2006, by Section Head Zhang Guilin and Office Head Wu Fenggang. They shocked him with electric batons, slapped his face, and made him sit on the Tiger Bench. Mr. Tian was on a hunger strike for 60 days. He is being force-fed, and his life is in danger. Guards transferred him to the patient Fifth Ward. Doctor Gao in the Fifth Ward said they could not guarantee Mr. Tain Genghai's life.

Recently, Mr. Tian's family requested to have him released for medical treatment, but the prison administration refused to do that or to promise to be responsible for Mr. Tian's life. The Prison Management Office and the Fifth Ward is in charge of Mr. Tian's case now.

Tortured together were practitioners Mr. Chen Binli and Mr. Song Zhendong in the First Ward, who are both on hunger strikes. Their detailed situations are unknown. We request that the international community helps to investigate the brutal tortures of Falun Dafa practitioners in Panjin City Prison.
