(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Mr. Wei Jianyu lives in Shaowu City, Fujian Province, and is formerly a lecturer employed by Fujian Province Institute of Technology. Due to his continued practice of Falun Gong, he has been arrested multiple times, his home ransacked, and he has been sentenced to prison terms. On February 20, 2006, Mr. Wei was taken to a detention center, and his home computer equipment, along with 30,000 yuan were confiscated by the police. On hunger strike to protest the persecution, Mr. Wei was taken to the hospital and force-fed many times. Under his righteous resistance, the police had to release him at the beginning of March 2006.
On the evening of April 10, 2006, only one month after he was released, the police arrested him and ransacked his home again. Mr. Wei is now detained in Shaowu City Detention Center and is on a hunger strike to protest.
On September 27, 2006, the Shaowu City People's Procuratorate sued Mr. Wei, accusing him of "breaking the law." Mr. Wei submitted his defense to the court, but there has been no sentencing yet.
We hope practitioners will expose the evil, completely negate the old forces persecution, and strengthen their righteous thoughts to help Mr. Wei Jianyu to be released soon.
