Additional Information on the Deaths of Two Falun Gong Practitioners from Jiangxi Province and Tianjin City
(Clearwisdom.net) Additional Information on the Death of Falun Gong Practitioner Shan Yuesheng
from Jiangxi Province Mr. Shan Yuesheng, 66, lived on Nongmao Street, Liantang Town, Nanchang
County, Jiangxi Province. He retired from the Economics & Trade Committee in
Nanchang County. Before he began to practice Falun Dafa in 1996, Mr. Shan
suffered from a serious disease referred to as "an unusual syndrome of
liver cirrhosis caused by late period bilharziasis." [1] After he began
cultivating, he quickly regained his health. After the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, he peacefully
appealed on behalf of Falun Dafa in Beijing in May 2000. When he returned from
Beijing, members of the Liantang Township Government of Nanchang County and the
Liantang Police Station searched his house without a warrant, confiscated 3000
yuan, and illegally detained him, as ordered by the
Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The director of the Liantang Police Station Wang
Yougen and the officer from the Economics & Trade Committee, Security
Section, Liu Erkang, often made harassing phone calls to him, watched him
closely, and deprived him of his personal freedom. This persecution caused his
previous disease to return. He died in the first month of the Lunar Year of
2003. Reference: http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2005/5/16/60816.html Additional Information on the Death of Falun Gong Practitioner Wang Zengcheng
from Tianjin City Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Wang Zengcheng refused to give up his beliefs and
was beaten to death by guards in a forced labor camp. Mr. Wang was from the Hangu District of Tianjin City. He was the deputy
director of the Hangu District Science and Technology Commission. During his
detention in the Qingbowa Forced Labor Camp, he refused to give up his belief in
Falun Dafa. The guards in the Seventh Brigade shocked him with five or six
electric batons simultaneously until he was near death. Mr. Wang was
subsequently severely tortured to death around December 11, 2003 in the labor
camp. Yu Lijing (nickname Erjing) and Jiao Shilai (nickname Er Pang), two
"personal cangues", [2] were on the scene when Mr. Wang died. Reportedly, Yu Lijing was later sentenced to 8 years imprisonment (10 years
according to a second source). Jiao Shilai was sentenced to a life term in
prison; he was infected with AIDS in 2005. Reference: http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2004/4/20/47232p.html Note: [1] Bilharziasis, also know as schistosomiasis, is a parasitic disease
endemic throughout Asia, Africa, and South America, as well as some Caribbean
Islands. Infestation occurs by wading or bathing in water containing larvae that
have left their snail hosts. [2] "Personal cangues": Cangue is the name of an instrument of
torture. It is now used to indicate the person who was designated to supervise
the behavior of practitioners. November 9,2006
