By a practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom.net) Currently, in China, many prisons, forced labor camps and brainwashing centers are still imprisoning many of our fellow practitioners. In order to rescue these practitioners, other practitioners have been sending forth righteous thoughts and clarifying the truth to expose the local evildoers with the purpose of thoroughly disintegrating the persecution. However, some practitioners' family members still do not understand the truth. Under the wicked Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) high-pressured threats, some of those who initially identified with Dafa now take the stance of opposing their family members and think that their family members are at fault. On the surface it appears that non-practitioners are poisoned by the CCP and do not understand the truth, but as Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples, we cannot escape responsibility.

Some practitioners may say that we have already clarified the truth to them, but they simply do not approve of Dafa and do not admit that their family members are good people. Are they too stubborn - the type that are too difficult to save? I contacted a practitioner's family members recently. The practitioner was illegally sentenced and is still in prison. At home, he has a wife who is not in good health, and elderly parents who are prone to all sorts of illnesses. They all need to be taken care of. Initially, when we clarified the truth to them, they could accept it and said, "We know Falun Gong is good and you are all good people. We do not oppose your practicing it, and we also understand you come to visit us with good intentions to comfort us." However, later on, they said, "Put yourself in our shoes. If your family member is imprisoned, how will you feel? Do you know that each day is like a year to us? Every day from dawn to dusk we long for the Communist Party to perish, and our son to come back to look after us, but who cares about us?" Later on, they also said some disrespectful words about Dafa and Master. When I heard these words, I was shocked. Not only did I feel bad for them for not understanding the truth, but I also blamed myself for not handling the whole affair well enough.

There is a practitioner in our area who was arrested and sentenced. At the time, all of his family members held negative views toward him and Dafa. But through clarifying the truth and the caring attitude demonstrated by the practitioners nearby, the family not only identified with Dafa, but supported Dafa as well, and started to realize that their family member was a good person who followed Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. They also clearly recognized the evil essence of the CCP. All the family members then quit the party's organizations.

There is another practitioner who was arrested, leaving her husband and her little daughter at home. Her husband also opposed Dafa and his wife's practicing cultivation. During the time his wife was held in a forced labor camp, practitioners got in touch with him, and the practitioners' concern about him and his daughter finally made him understand the truth. Sometimes, he even discussed with practitioners about his problems at work. It might appear to be just a simple opening up on his part. Actually, it was the power of compassion that brought about the dissolution and transformation.

With people's notions warped at present, they regard practical reality as the most important. We cannot ask too much of them. We are cultivators. We must try our best to save them. Why don't we do what we can to help them? Especially in the countryside, when the busy farming season descends, it is truly difficult if there is no labor force at home. Practitioners, let's care about the practitioners around us; let's see if they are being imprisoned, or have left home to escape the persecution, and if there are difficulties in their families. Under such circumstances, we cannot rest at merely clarifying the truth, we must also use our actions to show that Dafa truly considers others, and at the same time, save these non-practitioner family members. This way, they will cooperate with Dafa practitioners to rescue the practitioners, so that our practitioners can get out of the evil dens and rejoin the mighty current of Fa-rectification.
