Two Practitioners in Jinan, Shandong Province Arrested

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Li Jianmei and Huang Min from Jinan City went to Cao County to work. One day when they were clarifying the truth in a restaurant, police officers from the 610 Office found them and arrested Huang Min. Ms. Li condemned their actions, so she was arrested as well. Then police went to their homes in Jinan to perform searches.

Ms. Li Jianmei and Huang Min's boss heard the news. Since Ms. Li was an accountant, the boss requested a consultation with her for business purposes, but the police refused. It is said that the police demanded 5,000 yuan to allow Ms. Li's boss to talk to her.

Huang Min had been tortured in a mental hospital in October 2003.

Ms. Li Jianmei had been sent to a forced labor camp twice; once on October 25, 2000, and once in July 2003. Since she refused to write a "guarantee statement", refused to do labor, refused to wear a defaming sign, and always called out "Falun Dafa is good," "Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa," and "Persecuting Dafa is against the heavenly principles," she was tortured to the point of fainting a few times. She was hung up, shocked with electric batons, and bound on a death bed for 52 days. Towels immersed in urine were stuffed into her mouth and secured with tape. She was not allowed to have any water to drink, nor was she allowed to go to the washroom. She was tortured to the point of spitting blood for nine days. However, all of this horrible treatment did not make her yield. Her righteous cries encouraged all practitioners in the workshop; they resisted the persecution and went on strike together. She used the opportunity of being held in the broadcasting room to her advantage. She picked up the microphone and said loudly, "What was broadcast just now was all rumors and slanderous lies. Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa! Falun Dafa is good! Do not believe in the lies, rectify the Fa well!" Her shocking actions encouraged practitioners and also shocked the evil.
