Practitioner Mr. Bai Shulin worked for the the Suihua City Railroad Station of the Railroad Department of Harbin City. On the evening of September 28, 2006, over ten police officers, including Li Jianfei (male) from the Suihua City 610 Office, illegally arrested Mr. Bai Shulin because they found two Falun Dafa exercises tapes. They sentenced him to two years of forced labor. He is being held in the Strict Monitoring Division of the Suihua City Forced Labor Camp. He has been forbidden to see his family members.

At a little past 5:00 p.m. on October 27, 2006, at the Electric Power Factory Residential Apartment Complex in the Jianghan District of Hankou City, a group of people, including the Chief of the Wansongyuan Police Station and the Chief of the No. 1 Department of Wuhan City, Ding Li (male), surrounded the home of practitioner Ms. Wang Dongping and arrested her and her husband. On the night of the same day, they went to the apartment complex again and arrested practitioner Ms. Sun Junying and her elder sister.

Practitioner Ms. Deng Guizhen from the Fishnet Factory of Suizhou City in Hubei Province was taken to the Wuhan City Brainwashing Center by police from the 610 Office at noon on November 2, 2006. The 610 Office of Suizhou City also demanded that Ms. Deng Guizhen's husband's employer deduct the brainwashing fee from his salary.

Practitioner Mr. Hu Zhiming is being tortured in the New Prisoner Division of the Jinzhou City Prison. He has been on a hunger strike for over a month to protest the persecution. He is now extremely weak. The prison is force-feeding him and still refuses to release him.

On November 2, 2006, practitioner Mr. Wang Jiaxin from Wuhan City was arrested at his workplace and then taken to the Etouwan Brainwashing Center in the Jiaokou District of Wuhan City. He has been on hunger strike for nine days to protest the persecution.

On the evening of September 21, 2006, police from the Jiangdong District of Ningbo City in Zhejiang Province arrested practitioners Ms. Wu Yangqing and Ms. Feng Zhijun from Xiangshan County. Ms. Wu Yangqing has been released while Ms. Feng Zhijun is still being held.

On October 30, 2006, the Faku County 610 Office again instructed the police station of Sanmianchuan Town to arrest practitioner Mr. Li Chungui from Sanmianchuan Township. Mr. Li Chungui is being held in the Faku County Detention Center.

Practitioner Mr. Wang Runcheng from Beijing was taken away by police on October 1, 2006. He is currently being held in the Detention Center of the Chaoyang District Police Department of Beijing. The police have confiscated his computer, printer, Falun Dafa books, truth-clarification materials as well as other items.

On the night of November 1, 2006, a group of people from the Police Department of Yancheng City and the local 610 Office suddenly broke into the home of practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiulan and confiscated a large amount of truth-clarification materials, truth-clarification VCDS, an MP3, Falun Dafa books, and other items. They also arrested Ms. Zhang. On November 5, 2006, practitioner Ms. Zhou Xueying was arrested.

On the evening of October 3, 2006, practitioners Ms. Xia Qiuxiang, Ms. Li Chunlan, and Ms. Guan Yumei were followed by someone and later reported to the police when the three of them were clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa in the Fengcheng District. They were arrested by five to six police officers from the Dongguan Police Station near the Hualian District. On October 4, 2006, Ms. Guan Yumei walked away with righteous thoughts. Ms. Xia Qiuxiang and Ms. Li Chunlan were then taken to the Detention Center of Gaomi City. Ms. Li was released on October 13. Ms. Xia was released on November 3, 2006, due to the recurrence of her coronary heart problem.

Practitioner Ms. Wu Songli is in her 40s. She was taken to and tortured in the Workers' Nursing Home Brainwashing Center, after her home was ransacked by the State Security Division of the Lianhu District of Xi'an City, on October 8, 2006. After Ms. Wu Songli went on a hunger strike for more than ten days, she was force-fed. She is currently extremely weak.

At a little past 7:00 a.m. on November 1, 2006, elderly practitioner Ms. Qi Shuqing from the Beiguan Social District in the Shuncheng District of Fushun City was taken away from her home by a group of people with unknown identities. She is being held illegally in the Detention Center of Fushun City and is being brutally tortured.

Practitioner Mr. Liu Jiting from Shijiazhuang City was arrested on February 2006. He was sentenced to three and a half years of imprisonment. In September 2006, he was taken to the No. 2 Division of Saltern of Jidong Prison of Tangshan City, Hebei Province, where he is being subjected to more severe torture.

The Gongnong District Court of Haogang City had a second trial on practitioner Ms. Yi Haizhu from Jiamusi City and sentenced her to ten years of imprisonment. Several days ago, Ms. Yi Haizhu's elder sister went to the detention center to visit her, but she was denied entry.

On November 7, 2006, 16 to 17 police officers, including Gao Jinfeng (male) from the Yunquan Police Department of Datong Mine District Police Department of Shanxi Province, broke into practitioner Ms. Wang Gaizhen's home located in the West Garden of Datong City. They ransacked the home and confiscated all Falun Dafa books, computers, two printers, a digital camera, four cell phones, MP3 players, truth-clarification materials, and some other expensive items. They arrested all five family members, including a child eight years of age.

The practitioners currently being held are: Ms. Qin Junping, Mr. Qiao Jiesheng, Mr. Tian Fusheng, Ms. An Meili, Mr. Wang Kaitang, Mr. Liu Hong, Ms. Li Xiulian, Ms. Zhang Runyu, Ms. Wang Zhifang, Mr. Sun Jianguo, Mr. Lao San, Ms. Wang Yi. At present, Ms. Zhang Runyu, Ms. Wang Zhifang, Mr. Sun Jianguo, and Ms. An Meili are reportedly in the Chengzhuang Detention Center of Datong City.

November 10, 2006 was the date for practitioner Ms. Zhang Yuzhen to be released. Her family members came to the Women's Prison of Xinjian County of Nanchang City early in the morning to take her home. However, the guard at the gate informed them that Ms. Zhang Yuzhen had been taken away by the 610 Office of Jinxian County, which is where she originally came from.

At 2:00 p.m. on October 26, 2006, practitioners Ms. Yi Jialian, Ms. Yi Fangying, and Ms. Yi Runcui from Huangmaoyuan Town, Xupu County, Huaihua City, were reported to police by Wang Zaiyao when they were clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa in the Wantan District of Xupu County. They were brutally beaten by the entire staff of the Huangmaoyuan Town Government Office, including Wang Xiuman (female) and Han Linghai (male). They were forcibly taken to the Longtan Police Station where they were illegally interrogated. On the noon of October 27, they were taken to and held in the Xupu County Detention Center.

On the evening of November 8, 2006, practitioner Mr. Yu Jun from Hongtoushan Town was arrested at his home by the police of Fushun City. He is currently being held in the Luotaishanzhuang Brainwashing Center of Fushun City in Liaoning Province.

At around 3:30 p.m. on October 12, 2006, three police officers from Dongchang Police Station of Tonghua City in Jilin Province went to a practitioner's shop, took the practitioner to the police station, and held him in a room. At a little past 9:00 p.m., after having failed in their attempt to "transform" him, they attempted to ransack his home, but they were stopped by his family members.

On March 3, 2006, practitioners Mr. Jiao Meishan and Mr. An Wenqi were arrested by police from the 610 Office of Shijiazhuang City and from the State Security Division of the Xinhua District Police Department of Shijiazhuang City. Both practitioners were held in the No. 2 Detention Center of Shijiazhuang City.

Practitioner Ms. Zhou Xiuxia is currently being held in the No. 3 Women's Division of Kaiping Forced Labor Camp of Tangshan City. Due to torture, she can no longer see clearly and her legs are numb and have lost all sensation. The forced labor camp still refuses to release her.

On the afternoon of November 6, 2006, the Deputy Director of the Donggang District Police Department of Rizhao City in Shandong Province, Jin Xinguo (male), led police officers including Li Cuiju (female) and Qin Yujin (female) to break into the homes of practitioners Mr. Zhang Ping and Ms. Hong Meishuang and arrest both of them. The whereabouts of these two practitioners are still unclear.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Caiyun (in her 60s) from Jiuqu Town in the Hedong District of Linyi City was reported to the police by the CCP Secretary of Xibeifangwu Village, Zhu Gexiang (male), on September 8, 2006, when she was distributing truth-clarification materials in Zhengwang Town. She was then arrested and is currently being held in the Linyi City Detention Center.

Practitioner Ms. Dong Yinfen is in her 50s. She is from Wuxi City in Jiangsu Province. She was reported to the police when she was distributing truth-clarification materials on the street on the second day of the lunar Chinese New Year of 2002. She was arrested by the Dongbeitang Police Station and later sentenced to nine years of imprisonment. She suffered from breast cancer prior to her practicing Falun Dafa. She was rejected by that prison and was then held in the detention center for almost a year. At present, her illness has worsened, but the detention center still refuses to release her.

On the morning of November 9, 2006, practitioners Mr. Fan Jianguo and his wife from the Zichuan District of Zibo City were arrested at their home, which was ransacked. The truth-clarification material site was damaged with the loss of much equipment and many truth-clarification materials.

At a little past 10:00 a.m. on November 10, 2006, practitioner Mr. Sun Xiangjun was arrested at his workplace by police from the Police Department of the Zichuan District of Zibo City and from the Nanguan Police Station of the Zichuan District. His home was also ransacked. He is currently being held in the Zichuan District Detention Center.

At 2:00 p.m. on November 9, 2006, more than ten people from the Qinglong County Police Department, including Wang Hailong, went to ransack practitioner Ms. Ding Sumei's home, located in the Banjingou District. They brutally beat Ms. Ding. When her husband went to stop the police officers, they handcuffed him behind his back.

Practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiulan is retired from the Yancheng City Post Office in Jiangsu Province. She is 66 years old. Because someone reported her to the police for doing truth-clarification work, she was arrested at 12:00 a.m. on November 1, 2006, and her home was ransacked. She is currently being held in the Police Department of Yandu County. Her family members have been forbidden from visiting.

Practitioner Mr. Hu Yaopu from the Yangpu District of Shanghai was distributing truth-clarification DVDs on the campus of Fudan University in July 2005 when someone noticed him, but Mr. Hu walked away with righteous thoughts. On October 25, 2005, the Shanghai City Culture and Security Division arrested Mr. Hu Yaopu and also ransacked his home. Later he was sentenced to three years of imprisonment. In August 2006, he was transferred from the detention center to the Tilanqiao Prison.

Mr. Hu Yaopu was sentenced to two years of forced labor in 2002.

Practitioner Mr. Zhang Jilin from Hangzhou City was arrested by the 610 Office of Hangzhou City on November 9, 2006. He was then taken to the Dongmingshan Brainwashing Center of the Yuhang District. More than 40 practitioners have been taken there and subjected to brainwashing.

Practitioner Mr. Lu Yiming is currently being held in the Military Police Hospital of Guangzhou City. He has been on a hunger strike for over 20 days. He is extremely weak. His hands and legs are locked to the bed day and night. Stiff, thick tubes are inserted into his nose and used for brutal force-feeding every day.

Practitioner Ms. Li Chaorong is 73 years old. On September 28, 2006, she was arrested by four to five police officers led by the Chief of the Conghua Police Station. Her home was ransacked. She has been held for over a month.

In the past seven years, practitioner Mr. Deng Yuefu has been repeatedly subjected to illegal detention, home ransacking, police trailing, and harassment. He can no longer live a normal life.

On October 3, 1999, Mr. Deng and fellow practitioners went to Beijing to appeal. Consequently, he was arrested and held in the Beiliu City Detention Center. He was interrogated under torture. Afterwards, he was taken to and held in the detention center for 15 days when he was forced to "transform." Finally police extorted 2,000 yuan from his relatives before he was released.

In September 2002, Mr. Deng was reported by someone to police because he was distributing truth-clarification materials. Consequently, he was held for another 15 days.

In October 2002, he was taken to the brainwashing center for 15 days by representatives of the Baima Town Government and his workplace.

In August 2003, he was arrested by police at his friend's home in Hepu County, Guangxi Province, and was taken back to the Baima Police Station where he was illegally held for 15 days.

At a little past 12:00 p.m. on February 2, 2005, Mr. Deng and his daughter were arrested by police from the No. 1 Division of the Police Department. The police confiscated his watch and some electronic books. They were held until 9:00 p.m. and then released.
