UK: Mayor of Cambridge Compliments Falun Gong Practitioners on their Contribution to the Community (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On November 19, 2006, UK Falun Gong practitioners were invited to take part in the Cambridge Multiculture and Sports Festival held in Meadows Community Center. In the festival, practitioners showed local residents what Falun Gong is and informed them about the persecution of Falun Gong by the Communist regime in China.

Practitioners prepared wonderful performances for this activity, including a Falun Gong exercise demonstration, flag dance, chorus, solo, traditional Chinese dance, solo of violin, and solo of guitar. Their performance received favorable comments from the audience. The mayor of Cambridge, Councillor Robert Dryden, his wife and Cambridge MP David Howarth watched the practitioners' performance together with many local residents. The mayor complimented Falun Gong practitioners on their contribution to the community.
