Respect Master, Assimilate to Falun Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) Some practitioners have expressed their concern about the "inability to cultivate to great mercy and great compassion." I have the same feeling. I recently realized one point, although we don't have role models on our path of cultivation, we have our Master! Master is a role model for us in every aspect. Thinking about the Fa-lectures before July 20, 1999, every veteran practitioner who witnessed those scenes seems to have deep feelings about them. From the time Master began to spread the Fa until now, every time Master has met with practitioners, practitioners feel serene, merciful, and peaceful. Teacher's article Sage tell us about this,

"He is on a Providential mission in this world as well as in heaven above. He has bountiful virtue and also maintains a benevolent heart; he is full of great aspirations while minding minor details. With broad knowledge of the laws and principles, he is able to unravel uncertainties. Offering salvation to the world and its people, he builds up his merit naturally." (ESSENTIALS FOR FURTHER ADVANCEMENT).

My shallow understanding at the time I read Sage was: Master is a great sage who is offering salvation to people. While discussing this with a fellow practitioner, their understanding was : Our Master wants all of us to become great sages through cultivation. At that time, I really did not understand this meaning. Comprehending the Fa more and more, I realized that our Master wants all practitioners to cultivate a bountiful benevolent heart. Master asks us to pay attention to details, with a broad knowledge of the laws and principles. We must clarify the truth, save sentient beings, and fulfill our vows while assisting Master to rectify the Fa. We must do the three things well. Only when we do these things well can our Falun Dafa practitioners live up to Master's merciful salvation during the Fa-rectification.

When contemplating the last few years, the bountiful mercy and bountiful forgiveness Master has shown to practitioners is beyond the description of words. Whenever practitioners have a question to ask, Master always explains with patience and mercy. When a practitioner cannot successfully pass a test, Master always gives the practitioner more and more opportunities, and never gives up on any practitioner. If every practitioner meets Master's expectations and requirements in clarifying the truth and helps to persuade others to quit the CCP, more sentient beings will be saved.

Some behaviors which lead to conflict are: the inability to resolve the conflict, mutual mistrust, blaming the other person, or cutting off contact with the other person forever. This state is the manifestation of the lack of Fa-study and the failure to conduct oneself according to Master's teaching. When we face anything, we should think, "How would a god act," or "How would a Buddha or Bodhisattva act." Yes! We are different from common people. Why is it that we cannot realize this during a conflict? Because at that instant, we forget our Master, we forget Dafa. The old forces interfere with us using this loophole and make us think unrighteously. Then we fall into the trap the old forces have arranged.

In the last seven years, we have had many opportunities to learn. Especially our practitioners from Mainland China, we must remain clear-headed and rational at every moment. We must also do the work of clarifying the truth and persuading others to quit the CCP so we may save sentient beings. This is our duty.
